  • The clothes‘ loosening thing is so rewarding! Congratulations! Have fun camping— we love camping, especially back country.
  • Yay for the gym! Don’t worry about the calorie burn, trackers are terrible at calculating cals burned for strength training and it doesn’t burn as much as cardio any how unless you are doing a true circuit. I hope you stay headache-free!
  • Hi guys, sorry I’ve been slacking about posting. Just feeling kinda meh, and so nervous about our trip back to the States to see Dad—-first time flying in 18 months. I’m not a good flyer under the best of circumstances and the prospect of 16+ hours in a mask makes me quite nervous. Day drinking it is, then. I’ll have to be…
  • 7/14— Happy Bastille Day! Yesterday was a giant fail. Back at it today.
  • 7/12 Steps 12,893 1.5 mile walk Meh 😀 @Megan_smartiepants1970 i know it’s really hot where you are. Do you think the headaches could be electrolyte related?
  • 7/11 12,167 steps 4.3 mile walk Such beautiful walking weather yesterday!
  • I need to catch up 😀 Food and exercise have both been fine. Yesterday we went on a 12 mile hike and ended up in town. It was really nice to see so many people out and about! I hit a new milestone on Friday but weight has been bouncing around this weekend so I’m waiting to see if it was a fluke.
  • @Megan_smartiepants1970 sorry about the FitBit! Habe you considered a Garmin? The Vivoactive 3 is about 130 and comes with the charger. I have one and would be lost without it.
  • Is anyone else having a problem with the feedback buttons? 7/7 13005 steps 2.2 mile walk Under calories by quite a bit but I couldn’t be bothered eating.
  • I have the attention span of a gnat—- whenever I’m doing an exercise video I’m thinking about how I should be emptying the dishwasher, ironing, etc—- so I have to keep them really short. To that end, I do like Jillian Michaels’ 30 day shred since it’s only about 25 minutes long. She’s not everyone’s cup of tea, though… to…
  • 7/6 13,357 steps 3.6 mile walk Finger food at the party was DISGUSTING so that was a win! Venue really lovely though.
  • 7/5 Felt so blah. Barely hit 6000 steps. I think I will put off eating until my husbands work party tonight. It is finger food only, which should be easy to moderate/avoid plus I have to walk there and back which is good for at least 8,000 steps. It’s being held at a newly refurbished venue on the river I’ve been curious…
  • 7/3 22,401 steps 3.2 mile walk 7/4 32, 004 steps 9.4 mile hike My feet hurt. Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th!
  • 7/1 17714 steps 3.4 mile walk 7/2 18301 steps 67 intensity minutes
  • 6/30 (yes, yes I know but I am DONE with Jiggly June. According to Happy Scale I lost 2.2 lbs in 30 days. Kitten that crap). 16,534 steps 2 mile walk 1.26 mile run at 11 minute pace (embarrassingly, this is fast for me)
  • I am so excited for you to get your new gym. It looks amazeballs. I think my stomach was flatter than this when I was pregnant (I swear I carried my daughter in my rear end). It certainly was firmer.
  • Yes, we are! It will succumb 😀
  • July goals: Dedicated workout >5 days/week Minimum 10K steps daily At this stage my food consumption is not (well, rarely) a problem but I’ve been stuck at my weight for three weeks going up/down the same 2 pounds. I am also not able to fit into clothes which fit me well even at 7 pounds higher. (Thanks, menopause!). So I…
  • Wow, that looks AWESOME . If my husband would let me I’d replace the couch with that. 😀
  • Your carbs( vs cals) are still really low! Frankly, I couldn’t go lower than that percentage wise. You seem to habe a discipline plan and rethink it and adjust as you see fit. Many props! What is Marcys home gym?
  • I went (non food) shopping yesterday for the first time since December 10! Walked into and all around town in the sweltering heat (ow), searched for bargains at TKMaxx (that’s the European handle for some arcane reason), walked home loaded down with my purchases. So busy (and hot) I forgot to eat until dinner when I…
  • @tishsmith101 that sounds like a great weekend! I love camping. @JD2021Journey thats a solid plan. You’ve been rhrough a lot and you can do it! @Megan_smartiepants1970 2 hours swimming…wow! I tend to vacillate between keto and slightly higher carb levels. With all your exercise it’s quite possible that 10% carbs is still…
  • @Megan_smartiepants1970 I am amazed and inspired by your commitment to exercise. @taylok23 congratulations on the move goal and you’re going to do great this weekend!
  • 6/17 Had a frantic, busy, mostly outside high (37k) step count day in absolutely sweltering weather. Although I was drinking like a fiend, it was not enough and as soon as I got home I sought a very salty snack chased by about a liter of homemade iced tea. Luckily the living room was cool and I reclined on the couch with…
  • Wow I’ve been slack with posting. The heat here has made me generally sluggish and apathetic. Food has been fine, I’ve been hitting step goals but really lacking in the strength training dept. Weight is also refusing to budge...maybe I should change the batteries in my scale.
  • @Megan_smartiepants1970 I hope you feel better soon!
  • Big news for today—according to my frenemy the Omron Tormenter, I am no longer „obese“ by BMI standards. So, yay!
  • Hi! Been hiking up a storm and staying within carb and cal goal. Finally got past the pound I habe been zig zagging on for 3 weeks. Hope it stays off!
  • 6/4 Lol I lost a couple of days in there. I tend to vacillate between keto and low (<75g) carb. I’m going to concentrate on working my carbs back to consistent keto levels. I just feel better when I do. Plus I’m not as hungry when in ketosis and my appetite lately has been voracious.
  • Restaurant Report! Had filet mignon instead of trout Asparagus as a side 2glasses EXCELLENT Syrah Beautiful venue 2.5 mile walk to get there and back. I count this as a win.
