Falls just happen sometimes when something doesn’t work out the way you think they are going to. The thing I learned was to keep hold of the handlebars and let the side of your leg and arm absorb the fall. Don’t stick your arm out to try and stop the fall, you may break something that way. I’ve been riding clipless for two…

If you want to record your bike rides you could use free apps like MapMyRide or Strava. Those apps have connection capabilities to interface with MFP. I use MapMyRide and it works great.

If you have an IPhone, it will certainly work. I do cycling and use MapMyRide with IPhone and chest strap heart monitor, and I have it working as @kcjchang states above. I'm not familiar with Android, but I would assume that it would be capable of doing the same thing.

How far do you have to go to hit you goal?

Got back on my bike for the first time in a week. It has either been mid to high 90s F, with a heat index way over 100, or pouring down rain. Felt great. 😊

I use MapMyRide.

If I’m taking it to work for lunch, I weigh it first, write the weight in grams on the banana, and then bring the empty peel home and weigh again. Log the difference.

@Dr_Farru, it might be hard a first, but I went for a ride every day until it became a habit. Now, as @huskydoo said above, it does become a kind of therapy and stress relief, and now, I feel like something is missing out of my day if I don’t get to go for a ride, and I’ve been doing it now for 5 years.

You could also use a free app called MapMyRun. Uses GPS on your phone to record your route.

It’s better than the alternative!!!

I think they added Sushi to the title because when you cut it up into the same sized pieces, it kind of looks like Sushi on a tray.

@Ardael, hope you recover quickly.

Hiatal hernia maybe? That could keep food from entering your stomach. You could maybe try smaller bites, or chew your food really well before swallowing. That would require a scope from your doctor to confirm.

I went to a restaurant once and ordered Goulash, thinking I would get American style Goulash. Boy, was I surprised when I got served the European version. It was good, just not what I expected.

Sam’s Club, Costco, or Amazon. Not sure what you have in Canada.

Don’t have a definite answer to your question, but couldn’t you weigh them before eating and after eating weigh the bones and subtract to find out how much meat you ate?
-
The weather has been so lousy here. Can’t wait for the weather to get better so I can get outside and back on the bike.

I would keep them someplace close to the bathroom so you can weigh after your morning wee.

Good job, Girl.

You still have the same amount of PB powder. If you take 1 piece of spaghetti and break it in half, do you have twice as much?
-
No cycling involved, but here is where I went for a 3 1/2 mile walk this morning.

Still here. Still read the threads everyday. Just been super busy at work with a killer project with crazy deadlines. Riding has suffered because of that. Still riding just not as much.
-
Maybe be a dumb question, but can you run for 26 miles yet?

I have been so busy at work, long hours, getting home late, etc. I think I have forgotten what my bike looks like.
