Claims are not facts. He's never published any scientific studies.

Why, if it actually did help MS, would you expect it to help psoriasis. Brain lesions are very different from overproduction of skin or joint swelling. And if it did help MS, after all these decades, there should be an actual scientific study about it. I know this diet has been around for 30 or 40 years. That's plenty of…

It's a diet that is extremely limiting- and makes unrealistic, unproven claims. It's been around for several decades. If it really did work, it would be prescribed by many doctors, not just the one trying to make money by selling it.

Is there a chance you could be pregnant? But if it's sudden, it's worth going in to talk to your doctor about it. There could be many medical issues causing it.

I wasn't telling you that you needed to swim, just that it's good exercise for people with joint issues for the OP or others searching and finding this thread. I'm pretty sure all the pools I have access to are 15 miles away or more, and I have to pay in some form for them too- that's to be expected. The heated pool I…

Swimming is really good too. It's my main workout.

They prescribe medication because it works. But they also prescribe diets that have actual science behind them when it's appropriate, exercise when it's appropriate and so on. If you think it's moving into your joints you need to see a doctor so they can stop permanent damage. They also can diagnose if it's something other…

This. If you want to be vegan, be vegan.

I've had psoriasis my whole life. My brother, aunt, and grandmother too. My mom has psoriatic arthritis. It usually runs in a family. My dad doesn't have it, but his uncle did. A diet is not going to do anything unless food is a trigger, and it would be specific foods, not a random diet that someone is trying to sell for…

They shouldn't, but if you are using them for pain from overusing your muscles, the muscles could be causing water weight. Those meds are hard on some organs- mainly your liver and kidneys, so be careful with them.

You are a teen, you are growing. You will gain weight because you are growing. Please talk to someone you trust at school about this. Are you over 18?

I use bento boxes off and on. It depends on how much meal prep time I have. They are good for portion control, but can still end up high calorie if you use too much calorie dense foods, or too big of a box.

I'm jealous. Dillons didn't have them when I lived there, but it was my favorite grocery store even if it wasn't quite like California grocery stores.

I was at work and didn't have time to look things up. Cyclamate is the name of the sweetener. But I'm not going to respond to the rest since this thread has moved so much.

It's actually pretty normal to have stomach issues after a long trip.

I'm 5'10" and would gain, slowly, on 2000 if I were sedentary.

There actually is an artificial sweetener that is legal in the U.K., but illegal here. Haggis is not allowed here, raw milk is mostly banned here. But the thing is that we don't ban something here unless it is proven to cause problems, and many pesticides that are banned, this is true in both countries, are banned not…

Boiled eggs, cauliflower, baby carrots, chips, pretzels.....

I find a lot of meals and salads in US grocery stores under 400 calories. And lots of snacks in 100 calorie packs. They also have whole departments of produce. You tell us that your highest weight was in the U.K., not in the US. Just look at labels. I know there are safeways in Colorado, they have salad packs that are…

Organic doesn't mean no pesticides, sometimes they use more toxic pesticides, it's just the source of the ingredients. And there is stuff that is legal in the U.K. That is illegal in the US.

I had one abnormal EKG, and the rest have been normal since then. It could be a fluke like mine was. I've been told it's common. It's worth getting checked out just in case, but don't worry too much.

I bet this would work well with cans or packets of salmon too. The avocado would probably be good with sardines too.
-
A lot of the marinades are too high sodium, but I have some mrs dash teriyaki I need to try now.
-
I buy the flavored packets and often eat it straight from the pouch. My mom used to mix chopped black olives into our tuna salad for sandwiches. If sodium is not an issue, it's really good.

Yes. There is also a blood test if you are still concerned. (They saw something on a CT of mine 10 years ago they thought might be ovarian cancer- it was ruled out with the blood test and follow up ultrasounds.)

This. I watch out because my mom's mother had diverticulitis issues.
-
The research is not complete on that.

I love it on popcorn too, with a little butter and gateway to the north seasoning from the spice house.

It depends. Some health conditions, especially kidney issues, require you to limit it.
