If you have medical issues, ask your doctor. Depending on the issue it can vary a lot from 600-2400. So ask a doctor. I'm at 2000

Pickles, raw veggies, sauerkraut

Has your doctor said something? Do you have any health issues that might benefit? If yes- track it, if not don't worry unless you have problems. I track it because of health issues.
-
Are you aware that homeopaths aren't actually medical doctors? Often their education is distance learning from unaccredited institutions. You probably are healthier because you are thinking about your diet more than you did before going vegan. I've known some severely overweight and unhealthy vegans too.

Coffee with milk and a brownie.

I actually don't see a need to totally give up caffeine. I have cut back over the years. But watch calories when drinking it.

Please show me the study that shows that lowering sodium does not make a difference in those who already have hypertension or kidney issues. The only one I know of only studied people without hypertension and has not had the results repeated by a different institution.
-
There is no evidence that sodium causes hypertension. There is evidence that a person with hypertension can reduce it if they reduce their sodium intake. I'm going to trust doctors with medical degrees. Multiple doctors. Over one doctor who has produced a study that nobody outside of his organization has been able to…

Are you replacing the caffeine you used to drink? I couldn't go cold turkey without headaches.
-
A vegan diet can be as healthy or unhealthy as an omnivorous diet.
-
Actually it can make it worse. If your doctor tells you to eat low sodium do it. Many people have been able to reduce or eliminate their use of high blood pressure meds through reducing sodium in their diets. To tell someone on a doctor ordered diet to ignore it is a horrible thing to do.
-
What kind of scale are you using? Is it possible that it's wearing out? Or a battery needs replacing? And a couple pounds back and forth isn't a huge deal.
-
Cook your own dinner? I work that much and still manage my own shopping and meals.
-
My parents both could cook. If they made something we didn't like there wasn't another option. At some point we could choose to cook dinner ourselves instead. I don't know your kids ages, but why can't your spouse cook?
-
Not on the cheap end, but I really like my vitamix, instant pot, and air frier. There are less expensive versions of electric pressure cookers out there that work fine, but I have a gowise and an instant pot and the instant pot is much easier.

Ice cream doesn't have sand in it.
-
And a funny thing is, that people you don't expect are also struggling and working on it quietly and occasionally you find out and discuss it in a good way.
-
Anything that fits in your calorie count.
-
That is better than awesome.
-
I'm taller, but started out about the same weight and lost at many more calories than 1200. I'm at maintenance at 153 now at 1800 plus exercise.

It seems to live in the same realm as the HPV vaccine.

And for my taste buds I prefer sucralose and aspartame tastes bitter. Aspartame also is a migraine trigger for me, so I stick with sucralose or sugar alcohols. But I have to be really careful with sugar alcohols.
-
Yeah. I can keep ice cream around for months. I lived with my grandmother for a month and I'd buy ice cream to eat when I got home. (Label it with my name and everything) and she'd eat it.

So much willpower to follow all but what really matters.

I can tell you a combo not to include. When I was in middle and high school I used to go on camping trips with Camp Fire. We had to budget and plan our food. Once we put both skittles and m&ms in the gorp. Not a good combo.

I actually eat less on doctors orders. But I've never felt bloated after days when I mess up.
-
Yeah. Length is not an issue for me, but that could be an issue with an eliptical too. I have pointed out to my mom that she has t-Rex arms and legs. Mine may be twisted, but they are long.
-
I actually have femurs in the wrong shape. But it's possible you have an issue too.
-
It's actually hard on my joints because of their shape. But that's abnormal. Butnit is a good workout for those who can do it.
