Hope your potluck went well. We had one yesterday too - tacos, cheese dip and key lime pie. So not to feel deprived, I tried to just limit the amount I ate and survived it. Food is just too good though. :p

I've only been back here for a little over a month, but what has been helpful for me is trying to stay within my calories. My doctor recommended 1200 or so calories a day. It has helped. Plus, trying to do about 40 minutes of aerobics at least every other day.

Good morning. I'm 52 and have been back on MFP for over a month now and staying focused. I'd like to lose and get in shape. Also have my son's wedding coming up in a couple of months. Looking for 50-something friends too.

I'm looking for fitness buddies. I just found this app some months ago and was doing well on it until after I came back from a trip a few months ago. Now I'm back and ready to start tracking ago. Just turned 50 last week and would like to shoot for losing 20-30 lbs by summer.
