The other thing to consider if you're watching your weight, especially losing a fair amount, you can make changes week by week to your diet. Every few weeks or monthly will slow your progress if you're wanting to be surgical about your weight loss. If you're on maintenance, then you can loosen your grip a little, and…

Every morning after I go to the bathroom. My Garmin app does a 7-day rolling average and other weight statistics graphed over time. It is much more accurate than once a week because of the fluctuation in weight day-to-day, especially if you're a female (menopause & monthly). Other factors might be stress or sodium intake…

Are you looking for weight loss tips or fat loss tips? Lifting weights while in a caloric deficit is the best way to burn fat and keep your muscle. This is assuming that you're eating the correct macro nutrient balance. Also, you should be lifting weights that are challenging, not something easy. For instance, I'll see…

I just use my liver and kidneys, they're excellent and efficient at detoxing your body...assuming you don't have any issues with them.

Just curious, but are you measuring your food and/or slacking on exercise? What I've found over the years, people are diligent about hitting their goals and they are very consistent with diet and exercise. After they hit their goal, they become lax on their diet or exercise and slowly creep back to the way they used to…

One thing you'll have to realize is that weight loss is NOT linear and it isn't as simple as just cutting 500 kcals out of your daily diet. What I have my clients do is weigh themselves every morning after they do their business. This way you have consistent time and a more accurate measurement. The idea is to take your…

I haven't quit it just to quit it. I LOVE my beer, whisky, and wine! However, I've been serious about leaning out so I limit myself quite a bit. I've had 3 drinks in the past month, a glass of wine and two beers, all on different nights. It's amazing how much more you enjoy it when it's that rare. Yes, I added them to MFP…

I think your calories are too low and it's time to consider reverse dieting. You're body has gotten used to the level of activity you perform along with your calorie intake. If you're set at 2100 kcals and you're eating less, you're body can effectively go into starvation mode -- read as metabolism slowing waaaay down;…

Why would it ever end?

Meeting a person at the gym is just as arbitrary as meeting them at a coffee shop your frequent or a super market. Personally, I want a partner that is fit and health conscious, I've know the opposite to cause tension.

The stronger you are, the harder you are to kill.

that is considerable! It took a month to lose that, but it could take 3 or 4 months to put that back on assuming that your diet and strength training programming are correct. Please consider more weight training so that you can keep your precious muscle! Good luck to you :)
-
How much fat vs muscle did you lose? One of the issues with keto, especially if you're not strength training, is that you lose muscle...and that is weight you absolutely don't want to lose.

Here is one of my favorites of all time

I've seen it lessen, but it depends on the issue. Whether it is tendons, ligaments, muscle atrophy, bone on bone, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. Losing weight will mitigate the pain of some of these ailments, but not all, and some will require surgery to correct. Have you seen an orthopedic doc to have an x-ray…

I had mine taken out in May of 2010. The first few years were pretty bad when I ate something fatty, especially in the morning. Things like bacon, pork, too much olive oil, sausage, etc. I wouldn't have to eat very much and I would have to run to the bathroom. I would have to be careful if I was on a road trip and what I…
