  • Put on a pair of jeans that have been tight for a year and they're LOOSE!! Yay!!
  • I use a walker, but that doesn't stop me. I walk my dog 3 times a day, at least .9/mile a day. I shoot for three, but some days are better than others. I have also found many seated exercise videos (aerobics, yoga, strength training, and Tai Chi) and work out for 40 minutes every other day. I'm not letting my physical…
  • I found a bunch of seated exercise videos that allow me to work out safely, without stressing my back, knees, or hips. I've lost 1 inch in my bust, waist, hips, arms, and legs, since September! As someone physically limited, this is a major victory!

  • I want to: 1) walk 3 miles a day (which I've been doing - YAY) 2) lose 4-6 pounds 3) log my foods honestly (which I've been doing) 4) exercise at least 3 times a week (which I'm doing, as long as my back allows) 5) make healthy snacks instead of the crap my roommates keep in the house (it's not easy being the only one…
  • Got my Fitbit Charge on the 12/29 and love it! Please add me - I need the challenge. I'm disabled (back, neck, hip, knees) and do modified exercises and use a walker, but I've been averaging 3 miles a day. This is me: https://www.fitbit.com/user/449TCS

  • I use the SlimFast shakes for when I'm on the go, or have no appetite but know I need to eat. The biggest draw back to relying on them consistently is the inevitable weight gain once you start eating 3 meals a day.
  • I understand - I have trouble with sticking with things, too. However, this community has been wholly supportive of my successes and cheered me up through my failures. I do try to stick to my calorie goals, but don't beat myself up about failures. Treat yourself every once in a a while, then walk the dog, cat, yourself, 10…
