Hi all hoping to lose 9lbs if I keep it up I should be on track. Essentially I put on a lot of weight recently and looking to shed it again to be back in the happy zone. Not a very dramatic goal but there you go!

Flax seeds are great. Put a tablespoon in your porridge in the morning. A lot of it will be psychological too, try doing some yoga / mindfulness meditation and putting it out of your head for a while. There are specific yoga exercises that target the digestive system.

I stopped buying almond butter because it was contributing to rapid weight gain. It's gorgeous, and fairly nutritious, but soooo addictive.

I don't know, but they're bound to be ridiculously inaccurate either way. Unless you enter in the specific exercises you did, reps, sets, weights, break times etc there's no way MFP could make an accurate estimate of calories burnt per weights session.

Also -Invest in some pre-prepped egg white (e.g. Two Chicks brand) and use it to make frittatas. They are so easy to make, just fry up a load of leftover veg, add three whisked eggs + egg whites, fry for about 6-7 mins on medium heat then pop under the grill until it firms up. Bung 5 or more trimmed chicken fillets in the oven on sunday evening, season and add a couple of spritzes Frylight. Bake for 20-25 mins (depending on thickness) - You've a big load of chicken to use for the week. Saves you chopping and frying every single time (the effort). You can shred it and add to salads, pittas, wraps…
