Ok bubba.

This. You can do low carb but you still have to be in a deficit. Belly fat is the last to go so it can take a very long time. Have patience.

Hey Ann wanna hear a joke? I was up all night looking for the sun. Then it dawned on me.

Yeah usually a glass of Jack, Jim Beam or Fireball will get me going.

your metabolism does not start until breakfast To me this is a bunch of baloney. My basic rule is to eat when I am hungry. This worked for me in losing weight/dropping bodyfat but also when I was bulking. I don't listen to everyone else I listen to my body. Good luck.

Nothing wrong with taking a rest day especially in the beginning. I am old school (more experienced) and prefer to workout through pain if I had to. To each his own.
-
I usually workout at 2 30 or 3 am in the morning and there are females (a couple) lifting weights at that time. Now that's dedication.

I think anything after 1 hr or 1 hr 30 mins is counterproductive. It is even more counterproductive if you workout for 3 hours and eat 1500 calories. You will burn out fast. Yes at 1500 calories and the activity level you described you will lose weight and fast. But I don't think this is sustainable over the long term.…

Actually they do taste better when they are cold.

Yes not for powerlifting but heavy weights with low reps. You will pass out. I am talking about <50 grams carbs. Got better results when I ate some carbs.

I want to lose a little more weight and gain more muscle This cannot be done unless you are a novice lifter. Can't create muscle in a deficit. It doesn't matter if you do keto, carb cycle or any other ultimately it's calories in vs calories out for the weight loss part. While losing weight lift to preserve the muscle you…

You can buy one if you want. To me it will always be a glorified pedometer and I am not willing shell out $100+ for one. You can get the same result by eating within a moderate deficit and exercising.
-
Because he is eating at a calorie deficit and you mostly likely are not.

Bikram yoga. I have heard it's good for the soul.

Yes.

Anything you want doesn't have to be a protein shake. People drink protein shakes for the convenience. I have eaten eggs, chicken, fish or whatever was available at the time.

I am not vegan but you are welcome to look through my diary. Mostly bland foods nothing exciting but I do prepare them myself.

I gained 80 lbs in 12 months during a bulk. I also lost 50 lbs in 6 months during a cut. Both scenarios are bad as I gained too much fat and lost too much lean mass. During this process of 3 years I realized I could eat more and lose weight and eat a slight surplus and gain muscle mass. Hindsight is 20/20.

Not completely. Going to the gym and exercising brought some routine and discipline into my life. I am more confident in myself since losing the weight. The underlying issues are still there and I am working through them but they don't stress me out as much as before I was overweight and completely shut off from the world.…

If one Ben and Jerry's is not enough, have another one.

Magical pixies infuse protein into your body while you sleep.

End of every week.

I consider <50 grams low carb. <20 grams very low carb.
-
Yes there are exercises for that. 5 sets of 20 is recommended daily.

I forgot what I did.

Lol. I am scared to agree with you. You will be shredded for comments like this. The mods will be after you.
-
Lol. If he understood that he wouldn't be complaining.
-
@CeciliaBobilia Not trying to be insulting but you look like you just saw a ghost. Be careful out there.

I agree with this. Just to second her comment, make sure you are using a scale to weigh your foods. It will give you a more accurate calorie count and costs 10 bucks on amazon. You don't need a fancy one. Good luck.
