  • 4/25 Strength day @ OTF 60 minutes, 908 calories burned. Came home and did 30 floors up and down, followed by 30 pushups. I went to the doctor today and he seemed super impressed with my progress. Now I just have to wait for lab results to come back. I had him compromise with me because I didn't want to go on medication to…
  • 4/23 I was planning to go hiking with my girlfriend but I wasn't having such a good day and didn't feel up to it. Not feeling well also resulted in eating poorly. 4/24 so far has been an active rest day. I am way far behind on two of my monthly goals so the plan for the rest of the day is to catch up on pushups and floors.…

  • 4/14 OTF - Power Day (60 Minutes, 796 Calories Burned) Today's class was pretty rough. I didn't work as hard as I usually do because my body was feeling off. I also kept smelling something fruity that was making me nauseous. Maybe someone had on perfume or some kind of spray that didn't sit right with me. Oh well, we all…

  • April 1-6th, I did a 60 minute class at OTF and the 7th was a rest day. Now for week two! 4/8 is another rest day for me because i pushed myself too hard last week and my body completely gave out. At the beginning of the year I made a spreadsheet for a pushup challenge and I have a set goal for each month to hit. As each…
  • I have one more class tonight at Orange Theory Fitness before I take the weekend to recover. Gonna spend the day updating my resume and getting some household chores done until then.

  • The brand Barney Butter makes some pretty good almond butter! I personally buy the individual portion pouches but they sell it by the jar as well. They have different flavors and my favorite is the vanilla espresso. It is also good for people who have peanut allergies because it is made in a peanut free facility.
  • Coming to this 5 days late but I have been active all 5 days! GOAL: This month is Marathon Month at Orange Theory Fitness. I signed up for the full so I have to run a total of 26.2 miles in class during the month of April to hit my goal. So far I am on track! And to take it one step further... I attended a class the other…
  • I've been back on the keto-train for about 4 months now. My diary is open and in general I do log daily but I haven't logged in the past week due to travel. I am 27, queer, live in Texas, love the outdoors, and primarily work out at Orange Theory Fitness or in nature. Anyone interested, feel free to add me.
  • I've been doing well. Going to Orange Theory Fitness on top of Gold's Gym and cut out carbs in order to get control of my recently diagnosed diabetes. Im ready for it to warm up a bit so I can start spending more time outdoors!
  • That is so awesome! Keep it up! I completely agree on the whole feeling satisfied thing. My girlfriend and I had a nice lunch out at an Italian restaurant a couple of weeks ago and still managed to stay under our calories and kept our macros on track. It is nice to be able to still allow yourself certain things without…
  • Nice to see a bit of progress today! Since June I am up 11.5 pounds in muscle mass, down 7.8 pounds in body fat, and my body fat percentage has decreased by 4.4%!
  • I just had some avocado on a piece of toast for "breakfast". It is easier for me to have fatty things earlier in the day so I have the rest of the day to work on my macros. Either that, or pre-log it for later in the day so I know where I stand. I am basically JUST starting EM2WL. Marissa and I started at the same time…
  • My name is Kasey and I am pretty new to EM2WL. I just turned 27 last month, love the outdoors, and really want to get fit enough to enjoy every aspect of the outdoors without being held back by my weight. My girlfriend and I started reading up on EM2WL a few weeks ago and began eating more. I finally joined the group today…
  • I am pretty new to this also. It feels weird to be eating SO many calories but i'm sure I will get used to it. Actually, last night I had to edit my food a bit so I wouldn't go over! My calorie intake is currently set at a 15% cut with moderate activity. My macros before were always pretty fat heavy (I LOVE avocado) but…
  • It is definitely a huge relief! I initially came out to everyone in 2012 but we put off telling my girlfriend's parents because they are super conservative/religious and there are major cultural differences. I never would've thought that they would end up being more supportive than my parents are. My parents still call me…
  • Haven't checked in for a while but im still hanging in there! A few weeks ago my girlfriend finally told her parents that I am transgender. After several years of keeping it hidden, so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders! I am now officially out to everyone who needs to know! And it is a plus that they are…
  • I work in Austin and live near Tech Ridge area in Pflugerville.
  • I try to get as much exercise as I can in outside. I like to check out new trails for hiking as often as possible and I bike in my neighborhood and local parks almost daily. I also have a small strength training set up at home. In between, I have a Gold's gym membership.
