  • Try an orthopedist. After months of various PT and chiro for my shoulder, I saw an orthopedist. With x-rays, I was diagnosed with “frozen shoulder” and that diagnosis helped better tailor my exercises. Also she gave me a cortisone shot, which reduced the pain a lot, enabling me to exercise better. Today, I weight lift,…
  • I am 5'3" and started at 144 in Sept. I am down to 128. Moderate exercise (walking or exercise bike daily) and calorie counting , with no group of food or drink excluded from my diet.
  • I use the VivoFit to help me meet my steps goal, but I find their calorie counts way off base compared to almost anything else, and I don't import them to MFP. I've tried paleo and IF for the past several months but made almost no progress. That's why I'm here. I am optimistic; I feel in control…
  • Hi all, I've sent some friend requests, hope you don't mind. I'm new here, 47 and wondering what happened to my metabolism over the past year - up 10 lbs between my annual physicals! I work and have 2 elementary age children, so I'm squeezing in exercise as best I can.
