I had the same issue but clearing the browser history, cookies and cache didn't help (Chrome browser on Win7pro-64bit) but I was able to get back in using Internet Explorer on that same computer. I think all worked fine on my Firefox browser on my home laptop under Win10home.

Yes it does, sort of--but it would be better to say that it expands (over time) to handle what one stuffs into it (hence the surgeons comments) and "shrinks" back to "normal" when eating an appropriate amount of food for that individual. As a former binge eater, I use to be able to consume huge amounts of food (about 8000…

I'd keep an "eye" on those blood sugars & if they do get too high (especially if over 200 mg/dl) and the glimeperide isn't helping enough, I'd "demand" some fast-acting insulin for use at meal time (I use Novolog). When my mom had to be on steroids for a while, her blood sugars shot up too & she had to increase her…

@saraonly9913 , I take my Topamax at night before bed since taking it in the morning made me a bit drowsy too. When I started on Topamax I think it took about 2 weeks before I started noticing it's effects on my desire for certain foods I had trouble moderating making it easier to not go "wild" with them. I also drink a…

The 300-400 mg dose of Topamax is typically used for treating people who have migraines or seizures & their appetites are much more suppressed at that dose than at the typical 150 mg dose used for BED (Binge Eating Disorder). I started out at 50mg of Topamax with the intent on working up to 150mg if I tolerated it OK but…

@saraonly9913 , Topamax has helped me immensely and I'm only on a dose of 75mg/day when I started (& now trying a 50mg dose). At these low doses, I haven't noticed any "side effects" other than the kind of side effects I need, like no longer having a desire to eat cupcakes (I haven't had a cupcake since May 7th but use to…

I've eaten a banana with my breakfast almost every day & have lost 112 lbs. Bananas are my favorite fruit so I'd hate to give them up so I work them into my food log so I can have them.
