@ConleighS , Anytime one is sick, blood sugars can be elevated. I know mine would be higher than my "normal" when I was sick and that also happens when I don't sleep well (toss & turn all night or not get enough restful sleep), which happens a lot when I'm sick.

I think I'd like to join this group for my weight loss efforts for 2018. I lost 100 lbs in 2017 and have 60 more lbs to lose & figure it will take me at least a year to do it and after the holidays seems like the perfect time to start that next weight loss effort.

@Hellyeahitskriss , Choosing to stop after "4 slices of dry toast" is a huge victory when there is a "12 pack of ciabatta bread and a bunch of bagels in the freezer" just waiting to be thawed! For us binge eaters, choosing to stop after we start is one of the most difficult things to do & definitely qualifies as a victory…

@Hellyeahitskriss , OMG...Oh My God!!! That is one FABULOUS transformation & accomplished in a healthy way & time frame. Congratulations on seeing it though to the end & also for showing others that it can be done and helping out with your postings. YOU are MY inspiration to continue with my weight loss efforts & to never…

Thanks everyone! I'm out of town this weekend & the next visiting family for the holidays so I'm hoping I can hold my weight loss to just over 100 lbs by 1/3/2018 which is my "1-year diet anniversary" date.

I've never considered a prescription medication for weight loss (or anything else that might help) as "cheating". I'm presently taking 75mg Topiramate tablets (generic for Topamax) for my Binge Eating Disorder that has helped immensely at curbing my urge to binge and it also reduces my appetite. Without it I would have…

Me: 14 B: 0 DBF: 27 New "milestone" reached yesterday--I've lost just over 100 lbs since 1/3/2017. I've never lost that much weight before so hitting triple-digits is a record for me. I still have about 60 more lbs to lose to get to my goal weight, which I figure will take another year, provided I can keep my binges under…

I reached a new milestone today, my weigh-in Wednesday--I've lost just over 100 lbs (100.4 lbs actually) since 1/3/2017. I thought I'd never get there with my recent binges and all but I'm back on track with about 60 more lbs to go to reach my goal weight, which will probably take me at least another year. The next two…

Yep! on the website, I copy my meals from a prior day to the present day almost every day. Sure makes it easier than selecting all the foods again. It even lets me copy my lunch meal of a prior day to my dinner meal (or any meal) of the present day if I switch things around a little--that's also convenient.

Same here except MFP put me at about 1600--way too low for me but 2200 (without exercise, otherwise I need more) has worked very well.

Welcome @Hellyeahitskriss , Feel free to join in any time as others have mid-Month too. This is a great group of people here with daily updates to this thread as we try to work through our binge-eating issues.
