Thanks @Gallowmere1984 good to hear someone else has a body that almost breathes on the scale, in n out, up n down

Cw 125.8lb put on 1kilo (over 2lb's) overnight. Frustration. I know salt, water retention etc but just feeling like the scale is indicating I am out of control diet wise, which does not feel a fair way of responding to my efforts.

Ooops wrong thread

@KetoneKaren thxs for sharing. You have an interesting stuffy nose list there.I do appreciate your empathy and each of the folk sharing here. Makes it easier to tackle my own frustration of could it just be something non food related. Please let it be something like brussel sprouts which i can live without, not common…

Welcome @Cyndi146 great to see you here.

PS.. tension from tight shoulders /neck or grinding teeth is another cause I would loook at. Can cause major headaches, in my experience.
-
Agree with @Dragonwolf and @wabmester sounds like headache is constant so like you are doing, I would be adding more Magnessium, potassium and sodium salts with bone broth and a multi mineral capsule. Hydration is a key, especially if exercising. My husband and I get headaches from sweeteners so I would ditch those too. If…

Ahh tomatoes, how I miss thee. Darn histammine loaded critters! Avocado too :(

Dark chocolate and cashews. LCHF ok as an afternoon snack, or stress eating choice for me... ummm no. Apparently not. Cloggy last night and headache this morning to accompany what feels a bit flu like. Will check electrolytes are all good but right now pretty sure that yumminess is to blame. Anyone else have issues with…

CW 123.7, 9/10 with carbs a tad high. 40 min cycling @ 20kmph. No doubt thighs helping maintain weight.
-
Pure spirit alcohol, no carbs, but if I drink it I am much more likely to eat carbs! Most mixers have sugar or sweeteners. Wine and champagne/ prosseco are sugar transfer devices. Beer is yeasty sugary and bad news. Despite my taste for craft beers (wheat or dark) they are on my no go list. Rare exception made bi-annual…

Histammine build up is another candidate. Low carb diets can be high in histammines. These can trigger congestion.

My nutritionist suggested to not eat more than 1 to 2 pieces of fruit a day, if I insisted on eating fruit at all. Berries do have the highest level of fibre compared to sugar so if I eat fruit it will be raspberries or blackberries. Having said that if a fave fruit is in season I will have a little. I love cherries!!

Fantastic news Delighted to hear this. Keep up the great work!

Bullet proof coffee MUST be blended. Then it is creamy rather than gross. Same deal when adding oil to other beverages, in my opinion

Agree with @Sunny_Bunny_ 3lb is awesome. I started longer distance cycling and my thighs are currently like balloons as they repair n build, that means scale weight is higher. Take photos now and measure waist, hips, chest and anywhere else you feel interested in tracking. When you find the scale hates you, which it will,…

CW 123.5 unpredictable, thanks cycling for muscles, water and a grumpy scale. Hope everyone has a great day. Just got my DNA results back from 23andme. Fun! My ancestory is strongly European biased. Will let you know the kind of inherited traits and predicted responses to exercise etc they have if folk are interested.

HI @DianaElena76 I just kind of mi-read your post: "giving birth to my baby boy, at 236 pounds" I am thinking that is one VERY large baby :) welcome back.
-
CW 123.2 Scale unpredictable. Lost over a pound over night. No exercise and inhaled a choc chip cookie in an afternoon weak point. Life was easier when that cookie was just not seen as food. In trying to sort allergies I needed to broaden what I ate and gave myself permission to see snacks like that as a food /emotional…

@saltysailors what worked for me was "low sugar" this steered me away from alcohol, processed foods, breads, sweets, fruit and startchy veg. I have not looked at your diary but wonder what your selection of carbs are and how you are balancing that with proteins and fat. For me protein makes me feel fuller for longer, for…

CW 124.5 Great day. Healthy choices but Weight gained. 4 hours cycling. Extra inch on both thighs!

Happy Dance. BPC, 2 hour cycle, Vietnamese basil beef at lunch then 2 hour cycle home then restaurant scallops and beef for dinner with no adverse reactions. Even had a couple of bights of chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean icecream. Yum. No headache. First day in months.

@Karlottap best wishes for a fantastic surgery and speedy recovery

Back looking like stay-puff marshmallow woman. Spring clean, freezer clear out, led me to choose to eat the yummy home made minestrone soup from pre this WOE rather than throw it out. Safe to say INFLAMATION. Sinus headache etc. Histammines from tomatoes, gluten in the little bit of pasta, sugars in the root vegies. Did…

Call it denial... I love tomato and before I went burrowing down this lchf/ candida/ inflamation rabbit hole I had made / frozen a nice batch of minestrone soup. A former go-to fave of mine. Spring clean out of house and I figure I may as well eat it rather than waste it. I know it has lots of root veg n even pasta in it.…

Smaller than normal portion gluten free lasagne plus lots of bbq meat with no sugary sauces. Hide portion size with lettuce. Pasta & Woodfire Pizza restaurant is tough. Toppings like prawn and bacon with truffle oil sound good on their own. A nice caesar salad with added grilled chicken also sounds good. Looks like you are…

Cycle, walk, social class like NIA and yoga. I like your volunteering idea.

Apparently Alli is a remarketed version of Xenical, that reduces less fat (15% rather than 30%) so that it minimises those, umm... err.. side effects. My friend knows way too much!
