Another thought on snacking. I just got msg from my husband in Oman wanting details of a wedding invite. He plans to book flights, if internet improves. Given dodgy connection, i wanted to answer quickly, I am flying around the house getting angry with myself for hiding it somewhere other than my hand bag or work bag.…

Mum is back for 2 weeks. I explained that my food choices in the week she was here, that I decided so that I would be more inclusive of what she was eating, had taken me 3 days to recover from. Mum said, well that's no good is it. We agreed that we "couldn't be having that". I then explained what food intollerances I was…

Now I am powerful confused. I repeated the soup at night with added nori, chicken n courgette. Even had a tiny bit of avocado n tomato with lettuce. No reaction. Argh! Not simple reacts everytime deal. V odd.

@baconslave your dish sounds delicious. In theory tumeric should help but as you point out, difficult to seperate from other things going on with my diet. Will let you know if I can seperate it out :) yummy and on a short list of "can eat" foods right now

Yes, multiple months. Change to IF and BPC, plus checked I was getting enough calories. Mixed up exercise too. Tips: 1. Finding Nemo quote, just keep swimming 2. TOM n water retention can screw with results 3. Use trend lines ( @Sunny_Bunny_ often shares great pics of hers) rather than looking at single values. Slow can be…

Moving back towards keto and managing my electrolytes etc. Thus had bone broth for lunch with veg, given I am trying meatless may. Headache n sinuses both full, re-enforces the likelyhood histamines are my problem and as @DittoDan pointed out I have some more microflora to fix in my gut. Argueably the veg were getting…

PART 1 WALK ONE MILE: 15 min 47 sec on treadmill PART 2 PUSH UPS in 1 MIN: 33 modified PART 3 SITUPS in 1 MIN: 26 half PART 4 PLANKS: held 67 secs I have also recorded #tricep dips and squats in my journal. Did a baseline flexibilty (or lack there of) measurement so I can see if I make progress thanks to yoga. Approximates…

Tumeric is meant to be healthy so I added that n coconut milk n egg to 4 low carb vegies and made a veg curry last night. Yum. Fried the veg in coconut oil first. Veg was Bimi, broccoli, celery and half a courgette. My first attempt at creating a meatless may dish.

Made a bpc for breckie and chose fish for lunch out. Scraped off batter and gave the fries to the chippie monster. I even left 3/4 of the second piece of fish as I was not hungry, despite small size of fish. Happy body. Cycled back home. Eliptical trainer after that. Then.. Vanilla powder shake with unsweetened almond…

Race over but Dont we have one more weigh in?

Yesterday I had vanilla protein powder meal substitute with a coffee bean and tea leaf vanilla sugar free shake powder plus unsweetened almond milk. Great smoothie. Quick n easy (lazy moment and curious if it was an option). 20 mins later sneezing a lot! Need to use the 2 powders seperately and see which one doesn't like…

Is the C for calorie or carbohydrate? In context, I assume calorie.

@DianaElena76 caught it, intrigued but was hoping it was more of a spectator sport :) Good luck on your journey

BtW many sites suggest if you have histamine intollerance there can be randomness to testing. This is because it is a sink too full model. If we have not had high histamine food for a while then we may be able to tolerate a higher histamine food, whereas if we have been eating lots of them then our body screams no more.…

@DianaElena76 sorry to hear that. Good luck with your investigations and testing your hypothesis

Not convined re genetic predisposition either, when the family dog n cat are also obese, I think it may be time to look at ways of eating n social praise for compliance with over generous food portions. "Falling in line" for a week I gained 2lb. Literally back on the treadmill as I type this.

@baconslave love the scale hokey pokey and accompanying iimage. Very funny! Thxs for sharing.

@DananaNanas yes please. Hard to imagine a low carb veg solution other than plates of leafy greens with maybe a mushroom or tomato n avocado for those who are not allergic to them. Love to see your "boring" diary and food plans. They sound interesting, useful and exciting to me.

How are you going?

Hi there team, final few days of challenge and I am on a mission to get below my starting weight. Today I weighed in where I started at 121.3lb or 55kg. I got down to just under 120 before bouncing back up n over. Aim to start next challenge at a lower weight than I started this one. Surprisingly happy given stress,…

I put trigger weights in place. Now if I get above 55kg, (a prior goal weight) I know I need to act promptly to fix that, 56kg and there is a serious look at habits n lifestyle to be re evaluated. Otherwise, based on past experience, I will slowly creep up whilst I ignore that evil scale and convince myself my clothes…
