Sounds great! I'll post my starting stats tomorrow morning. This sounds like it'll be wonderful for accountability. great idea!

Hi there! I've packed myself a lunch on and off for years but have only really just started the prepping thing so while I have lots of experience with cooking I haven't tried out many of the different recipes designed specifically for that purpose. The basic formula for any prep though that I can tell is 4 meals = 1 pound…

Congratulations on reaching 201! that's a big deal. As bad as the brownie sounds I completely understand the feeling. I have a huge fear of waste when it comes to food, especially food I know I enjoy. As long as I think someone else is going to enjoy the food I can happily leave it for them, but the minute it looks like…

Not entirely sure what one has to do to be a part of this accountability thread, but I'm looking to gradually drop about 8 pounds (from 118ish to 110 - I'm built very small and have verified that this is not an unhealthy goal). I'd like to lose 4 of those pounds in September through exercise and meal prep.

Welcome! Feel free to add me if you would like more friends. You're always welcome to message me to compare ideas or get support :)

I'm old but friendly. you can add me if you want though!

you (and anyone reading the thread) are welcome to add me. I've just started back into MFP after a lengthy hiatus of maintenance. I've only got 8 pounds that I want to lose, but I'm trying to actively meal prep and will likely be making posts with of yummy (healthy) food and recipes upon request <3

I'm a fitbit fan big-time although I use the Flex rather than the Charge HR. I know you've already make your purchase (congratz) but in reading some of the other responses it seems people are curious how they work. From the best I can tell, fitbits use impact to track steps rather than arm movement. Thus why the elliptical…

The real trick is sticking with the program. it can work, if you do it smart, but the goal they set you is just a tool based on average statistics. it won't necessarily be the results that you're individually looking for, BUT the more accurate you get with your counting and taking into consideration the amount that you…

I eat constantly. While I work i eat breakfast 8:30ish after I've settled in at my desk, snack at 10:00, lunch right at noon, snack at 2:30, snack when i get home around 5ish, maybe a second if the first was small a couple hours later, and dinner with my husband around 9:30 when he gets home. however each of my meals…

Blue cheese is my fav. but if I'm counting calories i generally just go with a seasoned rice vinegar. It's slightly sweet, slightly salty, and lots of flavor for only 20 calories.

feel free to add me. Looking for very small number of friends so that I can keep them/me accountable

another thought. your body might be retaining water (stress can do that along with any number of other things). The scale is a good tool, but it can't tell you how many of those pounds are fat, how many are muscle, and how many are due to water retention.

The scale is probably your best friend because it can't lie to you or baby you along (other friends are great for that though especially if they're falling off their own weight-loss wagon and want company). It's not criticizing you, it's helping you. Giving you one more valuable insight into what's going wrong so that you…
