Pizza and I have a bond that will never, ever be broken.

Eating vegetables, fruit, and meat [plenty of eggs, pork, fish, and beef (I don't love chicken)], and eliminating processed carbohydrates (flour etc) from my diet results in a dramatic drop in my cholesterol levels. I'm talking from 250 to 150 total cholesterol.

I have the finest and thinnest hair imaginable. I would always wash (and blow dry) my hair everyday because my scalp oil would make my hair nasty. With the advent of dry shampoo, over the last 4-5 years, I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week. On the days I do not wash, I use dry shampoo (i really like the one from Dove),…

I am very sensitive to that added protein taste usually found in shakes, bars etc (i guess mostly soy protein-yuck). I recently have bought Isopure unflavored whey protein to add to my smoothies etc. It is great with no added flavor, just protein. I would say there is a bit of gritty/rough mouthfeel from it though. But no…

Oh, if you have a Strippaggio near by, they have a lot of flavored balsamic vinegars. If I am am being really good, I just sprinkle some of their Cranberry Pear White balsamic over my salad. Pretty good!

Try Lighthouse OPA dressing. Its made frim greek yogurt, 60 cals for 2 tbsp. I buy the feta dill one for chicken salad. But I mostly use the blue cheese. I think blue cheese is a good option for salad dressing because the flavor is so strong, it only takes a little bit to flavor the whole salad. There are several other…

This with modification. Criss cross cuts through skin and fat (not flesh). Salt and pepper both sides. Cold pan, skin side down, start heat low and slowly bring up temp. This will slowly render fat out. Drain fat often. Cook 95% skin side down. When most fat is rendered and skin is browned off, flesh still red and raw on…

I just noticed that my workout yesterday does not show up in the "activity feed" (but is there under workouts) on map my fitness, so maybe that's part of the problem.

My mapologies my fitness and my fitness pal aren't syncing now either

Absolutely not. I have/had high cholesterol (230-250 range). When I eliminate processed grains, breads etc and eat mostly lean meats, including at minimum 1 jumbo egg per day and usually 3, and vegetables, my cholesterol dropped 80 points in 4 weeks. YMMV

I live in Arkansas. I am 37 y.o., 5'3"-ish (I like to claim 5'4"), and 193 lbs. I just started walking through my neighborhood which has some very steep hills (mountain). It's a workout! At least for me :) I wish and strive to be able to jog those hills. I would be happy with getting down to 150 lbs, but would love to be…

No such thing as too many eggs. They are an excellent food source. I keep a dozen boiled in the fridge for a quick satisfying snack or breakfast.

I don't understand. How does your elevation chart look like that if you are walking perfectly flat? I am walking along a mountain range, up and down....
