My question is just with 5 running days and such high mileage... does The body have enough time to recover??? I struggle with fatigue in my legs with consecutive runs... I think it's in my head though "I ran yesterday.. so my legs are tired today" I need to get my head right! Anything you guys do to promote muscle…

I agree haha... though I've been consistently ttaining since around sept last year... just haven't pushed further than 21km... so are least my base is strong...

It's frustrating. I gained a lot of weight over December and can't shake it, as you mentioned running in a deficit just doesn't work well... but it sucks because I'm also carrying 6 extra kgs when I run!! Maybe I need to focus on losing the 6kgs first, then try become super human!

I run between 60 and 70km a week! Sorry we don't work with miles.. but I think it's around 40 mi a week??? My long run at the moment is 25km... I plan on increasing the long run by 2km each week.... I don't pay too much attention to calories. I eat 5 or 6 times per day... things like oats, veg, tuna... protein with every meal... I'd guess my macros to be around 45 protein 35 carbs and 20 fats..

Just an issue as I race mist weekends... also run better when I'm lighter, and feel like eating copious amounts every week contradicts that!

Depends how serious she has been? If she's like me..... I'm super strict n slight deviation causes a binge cycle.. so if my boyfriend bought my choc, as sweet as his intentions, I would cry lol

Thanks for the advice guys! I'm from south africa and there aren't many shops around me that stock specialised socks etc for running. I recently bought a new pair of running shoes, they were expensive and the worst thing I could've done... The blisters they gave me were horrible. I thought maybe I just needed to wear them…

Never actually heard of this.. Very interesting! I think I'm gonna donate mine to someone else though, I'm a school teacher and so I have more than enough kids to want my own!! :) Very interesting though, amazing how we are built to accomodate and adapt to things that may come!

Mmmm, maybe the body fat was taken incorrectly.. It was done using the 3 sight skin fold method.. so guess it never took everything into consideration... Regardless... I guess I'm just gonna keep on keeping on and see how it plays out.

I'm not 12% anymore.. at the time I was 12% it was taken by a biokineticist and I literally had no fat anywhere except in that area... had the top 4 abs on display but then this little bump... like a fold I guess... just never been totally flat?

Actually makes a lot of sense... The whole pack was about 550g with about 5 breasts(raw)... so I probably underestimated... so I prob ate just over 200g then I think.. Thanks guys... learnt something new about it being measured raw!

I'd say it was probably a Lil more than 2 breasts.. but I weighed it after cooking.... Maybe it will just take some getting used to... I enjoyed it as I had it with avo... just took me by surprise how much food it was for supposedly so little calories
