  • @susan2396 So I cheated a bit. Green Giant makes something called "cauliflower crumbles" which I cooked in the microwave (steams in the bag). I then dumped everything (milk and a little butter, salt and pepper) into the blender and blended until smooth. Next time I'll mash them by hand because they got too airy in the…
  • @kah68, Yes Greek yogurt is the best! So versatile. I've even made dips with it. It's a lifesaver. Last night I made cauliflower "mashed potatoes" for the first time and was quite impressed. They were delicious and taste similar to real potatoes. Great way to sneak extra veggies in
  • Welcome @PudgyPigeon and @Terri70 I'm a newbie too, but the group has been ever so welcoming. Glad to meet you and congrats on your success thus far! :)
  • @kah68 Thanks for the tips. Those are great suggestions and I know more veggies=feeling fuller throughout the day. Might be tricky for breakfast as I'm an oatmeal or Greek yogurt eater, but I think I'll have a small portion of eggs on the side. I'll try some of the snack tips this week. You rock! :)
  • Thanks @RobinsEgg ! I'm finding out that I'm leaning too much on snacks and not eating enough veggies (though my snacks are pretty decent). I'm a graphic designer by day, and at night I'm a grad student, so it seems like I'm always busy and always hungry, lol. For exercise, I walk and every Saturday I hike with friends.…
  • Hey @susan2396, yes I think I've had a solid week. I've had a busy week and attended lots of events after work. Though my schedule has been busy, I brought healthy snacks and it kept me on track. I've been battling a wicked sweet tooth this week too, but so far so good. Thanks for asking. How about you?
  • @susan2396 WOW! Of course I've heard of HoneyBaked. Matter of fact, the holidays aren't the same without a HoneyBaked ham. I've stood in lines for up to an hour just to have one. They're seriously that good (and I've got a ton of extra pounds to back this up, lol). Good luck during the holiday rush
  • @grandmakaye44 Thanks for the welcome! Partials take some getting used to. My brother has one and it took a while for him to adjust. You'll definitely get there :)
  • @RobinsEgg Thanks for the warm welcome and kind words :) . I'm looking forward to learning more about you as well! You have such a personal touch on this forum, and you've definitely made me feel welcome. @susan2396 Yes! The holidays are near and I'm gonna need all the kicks in the butt I can get, LOL!
  • Thanks for the warm welcome @susan2396. I'll be sure to check in from time to time. Hope everything went well with training the new employee
  • Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum, but am happy that I found it. I've been using MFP for a little over a month and have lost about 8lb....though I did have an incident with some ice cream and dark chocolate this weekend, so I might have a different story tomorrow morning, lol! Just wanted to introduce myself and cheer…
