I bank calories during the week knowing I'm going to go over my limit by at least 1k Friday and Saturday. Since I started 100+ days ago I have not gone more than 4 days straight without going over my calorie limit. Still managed to shed 20lbs so far.

Be diligent during the week. From Mon-Thurs (sometimes Friday) I eat as little as possible during the day. Black coffee and water all day, then a piece of fruit on the ride home from work. I use the IF concept where I don't eat/snack until I'm driving home from work around 3PM. I don't believe in the effects others claim. It's just a great way for me to get home from work, sit down for dinner, and know I have 1500 calories I can enjoy.

doesn't work for me. i've tried. lose 20lbs, feel good, stop calorie counting, slowly creep back up to unhealthy weight. i need the accountability of calorie counting and being rewarded when i stay below a certain amount. nothing wrong with constantly calorie counting and tracking it. seeing how i'm on a computer/mobile…

If you have poor hip flexibility (like I do) I find pointing your toes out a bit helps you be able to drop into that deep pocket.
