Having a rice cooker has helped me a lot! Since you do not have a oven I would suggest getting a slow cooker to cook your meats in, then leave it in the fridge. Also having a slow cooker gives you endless possibility for other meals. During the week when I want to have rice (which is almost every night) I will put my…

Ice cream and my favorite fast food items. I still eat the fast food once and awhile, but am now getting the options with less calories, and less food all together.

Their are sooo many mix-ins for your water. I have Mio, crystal light, and koolaid all at 0 calories, just to name a few. This helps give me some variety, their are many different liquid and powder mixes to choose from. As for soda I will enjoy a coke zero every once in awhile.

Trying to keep busy when at home, and always having healthier options available to you. That is what helped me. Instead of having a candy bar I will have a Fiber One bar...etc.

I do all my shopping at Aldi, since it is the only grocery store I can walk to in my area. I love everything about them except the limited variety. Also sometimes they may have a food in stock and I wont see it again until a few months later...which is weird. Other than the couple items I may need somewhere else, Aldi does…

Not wanting to waste my 20's on not doing things I want to do because I feel "to fat". I also want to look amazing on my wedding day. Me and my boyfriend of 8 years are losing weight together. I…

Your body probably became addicted to the junk food and is telling you "something is off" by not having it. Also you are probably going through some emotional stress as well by not eating what is familiar to you. You just have to retrain your body to want healthier options. I was a big fast food eater, like 1-3 times…

This is all very inspirational for a fellow shorty, 5'1" here. Keep up all the great work everyone! I hope to be able to post my success story here one day.

My go to snacks are string cheese, pickles, baby carrot sticks with or without a fat free ranch dressing, and popcorn kernels that you can pop yourself (not the kernels that come in the microwave bag).

I am 5"1 and was a pant size 12-14 and a shirt size Men's Medium and Women's Large when I was in that weight range. I was in high school at the time and was very self conscious, so I probably could have pulled of a women's medium shirt size though.
