For soda I drink brands like La Croix or off brands for the fizz taste. At first it was hard to drink because of how bitter it seemed compared to the sugary soda, but once you get used to it, it is not so bad. I also went from drinking soda, to diet soda, to coke zero, and then to brands like La Croix which helped as a…

I know what you mean! I hate seeing pictures of myself that other people have taken, I used to just delete them or just not take them. Then I started to use them as motivation, as what I don't want to look like anymore! I have to record myself 2 times in the next few months though for school....not looking forward to…

Some people always have something negative to say. Probably just projecting their insecurities onto you. You look great and should be proud of your weight loss :)

Any product by the company Fiber One will help you get more fiber into your diet. I personally love the oats and chocolate chewy bars and their bran cereal.

Being told you are getting fat or are fat hurts, but is necessary. My fiance has been the only one honest with me about it, and it hurt, but I got over it and accepted it. I don't want to be fat the rest of my life. He is overweight as well and we both are working to improve ourselves now that we have accepted it. So yes…

I don't think you need to worry about weight loss. Just focus on eating better, for your health, not the way you look.

I dabbled in cosplay a bit when I was younger and thinner. I was around 140 lbs In these pictures I believe? So still overweight for my height at 5'1". As I gained weight I just didn't feel confident cosplaying anymore. When I get down to my goal weight I would love to start cosplaying again. I go to anime/video game…

Yea, her husband is an *kitten*. I hope that if she drops the weight, she drops him too

I am 5'1" and my highest was 200 lbs. Even though I bought some smaller sized pants at 185, I have personally noticed a difference at the current weight I am now 176. The only other person to notice is my boyfriend. I feel like other people might think they are offending me by saying something about my weight if they have…

I just wanted to stop by this post and wish you all the best of luck! My Father was addicted to alcohol, and lost his battle for sobriety in 2014 due to health complications directly related to drinking. So please, take care of yourselves!

I am currently doing the WW old points system, which takes into account calories, fat, and fiber. I was an official member in 2008, when they had this particular system. Since I did not want to join their new plan now, I just found a bunch a resources online for the older one. I tried counting calories, and just did not…

I can relate. I am 5'1" and am 182 lbs currently (highest was 200lbs) When I was 140 lbs I felt like the fattest person on the planet! Now I would do anything to be that weight again, especially when I stumble upon old pictures. 200 lbs was my wake up call, you just need to find your motivation :) And atleast you are…

Thank you for this post. I was doing so well for almost a month then got derailed last week by quite a few issues. Today I am ready to get back to it.

No M&M binge but I have eaten an entire package of oreo's in one sitting. I also finished a family sized bag of cheeto puffs in 2 separate sittings, but within the same day. I do not recommend either I felt sick to my stomach :s .

I am not sure but I can defiantly see it between me and my boyfriend. We are losing weight together and I know for a fact I am more physically active than he is, and make better food choices. Though he consistently loses faster than I do. Also last week he completely went overboard and back to his old eating habits and…

I believe mostly everyone has stretch marks men and women. They can be caused by weight gain, pregnancy, and even growth spurts. They are a natural reaction to your skin stretching out. They may seem unsightly at first but they will fade. Mine are hardly noticeable now. I have them on my upper arms and stomach.

Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement :)

Thanks I was so discouraged when I got on the scale this morning and saw that one pound loss. All week I get excited to weigh myself and see the number go down, for some reason it has been my biggest motivator. I know I shouldn't give the "all mighty scale" so much power, but I do. I'll just try to readjust my expectations…

My go to snacks are cheese sticks, carrot sticks, pickles, popcorn ( not mocrowave kind), and Fiber One bars just to name a few.

I kept a few articles of clothing from my thinner days. But I gave the majority to my Mother, sister, and friends when I gained weight. Kinda wishing I hadn't though since my clothes are getting loose on me, and soon I wont be able to wear any of my pants.
-
Haha I was just wondering how to do this as well!
-
^^^ I usually have a little snack before bed :)

Thanks for the reminder! I will feel happy when I have lost 2-3 pounds in a week, but then feel discouraged because I still have 60+ pounds to go. Then I remember I was at one, point 80 pounds away from my goal. It's always a constant back and forth with me :D
