We have a treadmill, a rowing machine, a skipping rope, a medicine ball, a kettleball and a yoga mat. I guess its kind of a gym.

It makes me feel uncomfortable because I haven't actually lost weight for about six months, and even then, my progress was super slow. I feel embarrassed because I could have/should have lost so much more. I feel undeserving.

Walking really helped at the start of my weightloss journey, but I don't think its helping me now. I feel like I eat way more on walking days :-( I tend to do better when I do a quick intense workout (half an hour to an hour) instead of two hours getting my 10,000 steps.

I thought 20g of cheese was about 3x as much as it actually was :-( either that, or my scales were off this morning. I barely sprinkled any on my toasted sandwiches!

I think the liquids are milk, water and oil. I don't measure soda because I always get the diet version.

But if you use an measuring cup, how do you get exact amounts? mls doesn't always seem like an option when you search foods/drinks

I find that exercising, either with a trainer or friends helps. Its motivating knowing that you are meeting with someone because its more fun and you don't want to cancel on them all the time. With my last trainer, I only cancelled when I was sick.

Those are two of my favourite foods as well! I find it hard to walk past chicken wings especially.

My dog got in the way and kept barking and wagging his tail when I tried doing down ups (basic burpees) at home. It bummed me out because I enjoyed doing them and was going to put them into my daily routine. I think he licks my face when I try doing push-ups.

Haha, I'm hopeless at skipping with a rope, I think my record was between 3 and 10. I tend to trip over it. It seems to be more an exercise in frustration than an exercise in burning calories for me!

I think if someone starts ranting at you, the best thing to do is come up with an excuse to walk away like ''sorry, I'm meeting a friend'' or ''gotta pee'' or ''I have to take a phone call.'' Hopefully they'll take the hint.

If anyone was wondering, I have just done 10,000 steps for the fourth day in a row :-) that is 40,000 since New Years! Imagine if I kept that up until the next New Years?

I did 10,000 steps a day for several months, then stopped completely, then started up again, but just did it 3-5 times a week, getting between 8,000 and 13,000 steps a day. I didn't do much activity at all in December, but I don't think I've taken so long off that I need to start completely from scratch. Not with the…
