MFP has set 1220 for me to lose, but I get REALLY hungry on that caloric intake. I do much better on the days when I spend an hour working out and can add 300-350 calories, and I ALWAYS eat them back. Seems the only way I can stay on track!

Good on you, long term lurker, for setting an example for your son. Please feel free to add me. I lurked for an entire generation, but as an oversized granny, I'd love to show my son and grands that we can change our habits into a healthier lifestyle.

Pinterest and YouTube have some really intense (or not) exercise routines. Most communities have walking trails, bike paths, etc. that you can use any time.
