I look at their menu before hand and find meals that fit in my calories (plus the serving sizes are normally so big I eat half and save the other half for lunch or dinner the next day). Pre planning definitely helps when eating out. I also only order water (I'm too cheap to pay $3 for a glass of diet soda plus it helps get…

And weigh your food don't use measuring cups except for liquids :) something I didn't know when I first started and I was amazed at what a difference in portion sizes/calories

You sound almost exactly what I went through. Lost 65 on WW then I just couldn't drop any more pounds and I had 50 to go still. Finally after much frustration and getting so frustrated I went off track and gained back 10 pounds I found MFP. I've now lost those ten pounds plus 10 pounds more. I definitely suggest switching…

Get ridiculously excited on weigh in day if I have to go #2 before I step on the scale. Mind goes to thinking hmm how much does that add to my loss? Lol tmi I know

You look amazing and I love that top!

I rarely drink but when I do it's a glass of blood red orange juice and a Merlot mixed together. I've yet to have one since keeping track of calories. Hmmm wonder how many calories it would be.

No sex since last period... I'd still take a pregnancy test. Maybe it's my "I always ended up being pregnant" mentality but ya I'd definitely get one just to make sure lol

The occasional donut, ice cream, cookie or cake and still 70lbs down in 1.5 years and still losing and I'm happier than ever. Keeping on doing what I've been doing and enjoying my little treats. Plus I've kept my sense of humor. Yes I rule!

You're going to get a lot of advice from mostly well meaning people. Here and in the "real world". Listen to it but don't believe that it's all gospel. Find what works for you and go with it. What works for you now may change over time so be prepared to evolve as you go along but realize only you know what's working for…

Unless it's a maple donut pie there is no way pie>donut. Couldn't be possible. I'm sure that my opinion is scientifically and /or mathematically based on a Wikipedia link somewhere

Although based on this post and some of the oh so serious comments it almost feels like some are hoping you fail just so they can be proved correct. Well don't hold your breath :) I will not fail and that you can believe. ;)

Except I backed my comfortable feeling with calories burned by a total of 2.5 hours of exercise that day. The calories burned made me comfortable not just a giddy feeling of hope lol

Even the Boston cream?????? Well in that case a new mission must be planned!

Sorry I don't shop at target so I'd be no help at all. Now if you wanted a Joanns or hobby lobby conversion I could totally almost probably still not help you

Woohoo! I walked for 1.5 hours pushing the cart from hell so trust me my heart was a pumpin! Wait does that mean I could have 1.5 donuts! Darn it I shorted myself! You're right a bad diet would simple be a bad diet. Yet, one donut is a treat. Hmm 1.5 donuts may have been a bad diet. Didn't short myself after all phew! I am…

How excited an accomplished I feel when I hit another work out goal. I always said I don't work out. I'm not a fitness type person. When I changed my mentality, and decided anyone can work out and anyone can be a fitness person if they just do it, then it opened up a new wonderful world to me. Today I didn't exercise to…

Maybe take foods you like less to work? If you love pasta but tolerate vegetables then take a bunch of veggies to work. Packing foods you crave and love may set you up for failure. Then save the foods you really like (measure our portions and put left overs in freezer for another day) for dinner.

I think the better question would be, why would you want to spend a day without sugar? Nope so wouldn't want too! Now a day without chocolate... Nope not that either
-
Sugar is great. I had a thin bagel with sugar and cinnamon and it made me happy. Sugar is happiness. Go sugar!

It's definitely going to take some will power from her! Shoot in just hoping to not gain during the holidays. I'd be thrilled to actually see a loss!

Actually the donut was 290 calories and I more than surpassed that in my exercise calories plus still had an additional 300 calories left over by the end of the night as my food intake for the day (including the 290 calorie donut) was less than my regular calories before the exercise. As for the name calling well when my…

I know on thanksgiving I'm going to only focus on maintenance and weight loss for the day. I'm not w huge fan of turkey dinner and the fixings but I am a fan of the deserts after so I'm going to enjoy some of them guilt free. Maybe just worry about maintenance calories instead on "holiday" meals. :)
-
No. That's incorrect. You should eat some of your exercise calories back. Personally I eat about 50% back since MFP exaggerates calories burned on exercise. Some eat 25% back some more

But then how would I have enjoyed playing with my daughter and teasing my hubby as I drill sergeanted through all of Walmart? I mean I only get to use my drill sergeant voice once Ina blue moon! And Ty for seeing the humor in my post. I always looked at almost everything in life with a sense of humor BUT dieting. So this…

It's easy to get overwhelmed especially with all the abbreviations, lingo, and formulas. I figure I will start off just worrying about the basics and increase my education and goals as I go along. Good luck!

Ok then have a great day.
