Instead of mashed potato have mashed cheesy cauliflower. Instead of pizza dough make a vege base. Instead of pasta in a lasagne use omlette (sounds weird but you cannot tell the difference) same with a tortilla. Quinoa and rice are also high in carbs but Quinoa has a good protein content too. Some fruit and vege are also…

I have the same basic meals each day but find I get bored or the idea of one of the meals makes me feel ill so I have a freezer meal ( I batch cook once every 4-6 weeks meals that fit my macros and calories) and that seems like enough to Kickstart me back to going on with my daily plan My meals are high(ish) in fat and…

My wedding photo were my catalyst. I look bad, and kept thinking "wow Samantha, you have no ankles". I felt so happy on the day but this photos kicked me in the gut. I've told my wifband that for our 10th anniversary (9 years away ) were redoing our wedding

I have a pair of jeans in my closet since I was 12 (24 nearly 25 now) that I have promised my mum I will fit one day

Oats Quinoa Lentils/split peas Eggs Milk Cheese Greek yogurt Vegetarian meat replacements (e.g. quorn) As a little extra I'll add a bit of protein powder. My protein goal each day is 75g and I seems to be hitting/going over each day without going over my calorie goal

My go to breaky is a smoothie. A medium banana, 1 cup of oats, 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt, and 30g of reduce vanilla protein powder and enough water to cover everything. So yummy and filling and I can take it to work and have it in between all the things I have to do in the morning.

I'm a meat eater turned part time veg aka I'm married to a lacto-ovo vegetarian so only eat meat when my wife is away or I'm working and even then it's very little meat. I use meat replacements and eggs and plant sources for my protein needs. This generally pushes up my carb intact but not hugely. My main thought process…

My first goal is to healthy enough to have a baby (lesion marriage so getting pregnant is a little harder then normal) and then be able to run around after my kids My second goal is to lose more weight then my mother without plastering it all over fb like she has. UT annoys me so much when she does that

Big goal: have a child, whether our own or a foster child, doesn't matter, just want to love someone other then my wife. Small goal one: walk at least 70,000 steps a week, every week. Small goal two: be a size smaller then my mother (so size 16)

I took my nephew to a work Christmas event and my coworkers were doting over him while asking how much weight id lost and I was able to say, "well, more then him!" I wore him in a baby carrier (he's 8 months old and weighs about 8kg) and it felt weird thinking that this kid weighed less then what I had lost yet he was so…

Also look up a broccoli-quinoa casserole

I cook mine in stock rather then plain water, it absorbs the stock so is nicely flavored

Keep protein in check! You'll feel fuller with more protein. It's harder but totally doable. Quinoa, lentils and eggs are great. Beans and substitute meats are also good

How many dress sizes did you loose?

Today a co-worker who I don't normally work with asked if I had lost weight. I haven't been asked that and been able to say yes in years!

I got married in June at the biggest I have ever been. I had a simple dress and ceremony so didn't care all too much about how big I was until I saw the photos! I wore really pretty FLAT grey oxfords that were amazing but my legs and ankles were freaking massive and unshapely! It was those photos that set me on the fitness…

I've found upping protein and fat has helped lots. As well as what i eat. I used to (sometimes still do) a pie, a cookie time cookie and a fizzy for lunch. Yes it'll fill me up but by the time I get home I'm hungry again, whereas a salad with boiled egg whites and gold kumara (sweet potato) keeps me full (for a 1/3 of the…

Hi ya, I'm mostly veg (at home and mostly out although I do slip). My focus is weight loss and trying to get at least 100g of protein a day. Hit me up if you want :)

This is what I cannot wait for. My wife's best friend has a toilet tucked into a tiny nook and I refuse to poo while there cause there was no room for me to move to be able to wipe!
