I think it is the fear of the fall for me as well. I had to realize this the hard way - there is a ride at Six Flags in STL, MO called the Superman, where you are lifted way up high and then just dropped. I don't normally scream on rides...screamed until my throat was sore on that one lol. Super traumatizing.

Thrift stores, and Burlington are my favorite places to find clothes. I usually have pretty good luck at both, and I am in an awkward size too.

At my doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago, I discovered I have lost 10 inches around my waist. Hell yeah! :D

For me personally, I went slow. I first started choosing smaller portions. Once this became a habit, I from there substituted my normal foods for healthier choices. I have the Fitbit Blaze, and I personally really like it. From what I can tell, it is quite accurate. My husband used it first, and he also was really happy with it. My tummy. It is the only thing I really truly hate about myself. I think I would feel 10000000% better about myself, if it weren't for my tummy. Genes can be such a curse...lol

I have used one in the past, and I did not feel as though it did anything. It made me sweat more in my midsection area (obviously), but that is about it. Thankfully, I did not pay much for it, so I was not out a lot of money.

I plan to go after work, and will do: -30 min. on treadmill. -30 min. total body workout routine (It's an area Planet Fitness offers which has a mixture of weight machines and cardio you do.
