Wow. It's amazing you have lost as much as you have....I guess once you overcome cravings in the beginning it becomes tolerable??? I have sugar cravings especially when stressed. When I was pregnant with my kid I would take Brewers' Yeast and milk for each meal cause that was all I could tolerate. Guess I'll go back to…

Wow, what an amazing job you are doing. Definitely inspiring!

Take the work "quick" out your diet vocabulary. You were constant by tracking, which is great. Add one veggie or fruit to a meal and build on that. Drink water as your only source of liquid. Walk 15 minutes a day, anywhere...in place, around the block, at lunch. Small things added together equals progress. Get rid of the…

Fantastic! What an amazing transformation! Hi Kitty! My kitty likes help me get dressed in the morning too and always on the bathroom counter.

I find that news, FB posts, crowds of people, all the time (traffic, public transportation, elevators) bring me low i.e. negative and unhappy. So, since the election is finally over, I find that I don't need to stay connected as much...so I weaned myself off these cesspools of negativity and bad news. I now watch the…

You are doing great! The one thing you can change is you. The rest of world not so much. So, when you have amazing results like this pat yourself on the back! This is the one challenge you can absolutely win.

So a beer belly is just over consumption of calories that turns into fat in the midsection? Why do men have bigger beer bellies than woman, who also over consume calories.

"When is your due date?" And walking to a yard sale, and the person says "I have great baby stuff for sale...." It didn't motivate me necessarily cause I didn't do anything about it thereafter, but still remember the look on the faces when I told them I was not expecting....

:D sorry...

Have you done any measurements of your waist, arms, chest? Do your clothes fit more loosely than before. That is something that won't show up on your scale.

Khaki trenchcoat comes to mind; crisp white long sleeve button up dress shirt (for women); skirts that hit right below the knee in black or navy....classic styles...when in doubt go to a high end dept. store, or look at what bankers wear to the office; or what lawyers wear to court.

You know you might be right. It's like we now are playing her role in a dysfunctional relationship (pleading for change, begging, but not really ready to give up on her) and she is really the BF playing head trips. Felicia, bye...!

I was thinking too that if she "grew a pair" he might get his act together (take his meds) cause he would lose her if he didn't.

OP, have you ever worn shoes that were just a little too small for you cause you liked the way they looked, or they were a great deal, or they made your legs look amazing? You kept wearing these shoes thinking they will stretch enough and be more comfortable. Your BF is that shoe. And you know what...all that happens when…

it is not that hard to say "F*** Y*** and the horse you rode in on". i SERIOUSLY doubt your parents raised you to take this crap from a man. [/quote] Straight to the point! But I kinda think she did come from some type of dysfunction in the family and this feels like love to her. No one who loves themselves would put up…

It took a week for me to get use to not eating as much as I had. I was overeating by 2,000 to 3,000 every day. :( So it was a shock to my system. Now, I have a couple of days where I don't even eat all the calories I'm allotted daily. Saturday, I just nibbled on some lean protein throughout the day, drank water and tea. I…

THIS. I was in a terrible relationship at 24 yo., my first boyfriend. Everybody could see we were not right for each other. He would want me to gain weight cause I was too skinny. He wanted me to dress like a streetwalker. He cheated on me, many times. Once I caught them. But....I thought I was in love, and I promised…

Besides setting up for the next day in the evening (clothes, showers, lunch made, coffee ready to go etc.), if I plan to exercise in the morning, I wear my exercise clothes to bed. I'm single, so I don't have to wear anything my bed partner objects to. I keep my clothes choices simple. I wear all black every day. It's my…

It seems like you are SAHM. No shame in doing what you need to do on your side of the marriage. I'm addressing the work outside of the home mother.....really difficult to juggle job and family life if the partner is less willing to do their share of making the house a home.

I hope you have a good village of helpers around.

I for one had no idea of what parenting was going to be like. It is THE hardest job anybody will do.... some do it well, some don't.

I am not in a relationship. Just an observation of couples who have children. And yes, perhaps a mischaracterization of SOME men, still it's generally expected that SOME men are like this, less so of a FEW women.

You look incredible, and love your advice...progress not perfection. <3 I bookmarked this page. Please keep us updated for to me you are an inspiration!

yes, i'm serious. I live in the Los Angeles area. I take public transportation to work everyday. The phone conversations are loud, sometimes I can understand what's being said but mostly it's annoying especially in the morning cause most commuters at that time are quiet, reading, listening to their music with working…

People from other countries talking in their own language...kind of annoying cause they talk loud too...

or when they forget to give you whatever condiments you asked for, or even the wrong order. This happens everytime my daughter and I got to a certain drive thru...kind of think they are hiring people with missing brains...we now sit in the car and examine the order....sorry person behind us....hate going back..

oh my....i already posted my peeves without seeing yours. Both of these..

I don't hate the people per se, but just their actions: when people litter when people spit on the sidewalk, or anywhere else (yuck... why I take my shoes off at my door) when people use cheap headphones and I can hear the music when people talk non-stop, I mean, do you have a pause button? when people talk loud when I…
