It could be your portion sizes. If you have a big plate of something, chances are you may be over eating. Opt for a smaller plate and eat slowly, it takes your brain 10 minutes to catch up to your stomach. I have always replaced water with soda, even when I was little. Luckily for me I was never an overweight kid, but metabolism obviously slows down and I gained a tonne of weight. So I avoid drinking soda now and just stick to water, I also don't eat takeaway and I don't eat chips/fries at all. It's nice not spending money…
