I'm using the fitbit too. I've found so far that the weekly plan is helping to motivate more to use it. I've had days when I'm like "eh, I know I won't be eating too much today so I'm not going to exercise as much"... which I know some people will argue that that's not a good way to look at it.. but that's how my brain…

There's no way to do it automatically that I'm aware of, but you can set your calorie goal each day manually. I just figured that out this week and that's what I've been doing. Adding what is left over from my previous day to my allowance for the current day.
