We have the 50 calorie version here locally too, I bought some several days ago. Great find.

Special K cracker chips. Serving is 25 chips for 120 calories. I am usually good with 1/2 serving. Actually quite good, I have tried the Sea Salt, Cheddar, and Salt and Vinegar. The S&V is my favorite for just eating, prefer the Sea Salt for dipping in guacamole and such.

I would suggest eating at maintenance while you are healing. Your body needs fuel to heal efficiently. Consult with your doctor on how active you can be.

Tons of iced tea, sweetened with cyclamates, with True Lime or Lemon. Water. A rare Coke or ginger ale if I have the calories. Used to love coffee, but somehow just fell out of the habit.

The suggested calories will be different depending on many factors. Set up a free account here on MFP, and you will guided through questions that will determine your daily calorie goal. You will be glad you did.

It may well be enough, that was part of my question, although I did not make that clear. Thanks for the feedback, everyone, I will definitely not move forward with anything else without the doc's input.

I am doing yoga regularly, and am currently using a very small weight set (2,3 and 5 lbs). I also work with water "bells" during water aerobics, which does provide some resistance work.

I enjoy the convenience of the True Lemon/True Lime products (crystallized lemon/lime, no calories). It really helped me increase my water intake, and I also use it in my iced tea.

Tried Stevia, absolutely hated it. And yes, this was the pure, liquid version, still nasty. The other options such as aspertame and sucralose seem to irritate my urinary tract if I use it in drinks on a regular basis. I use sweeteners with cyclamates, which I order from the U.K. By far the best tasting sweetener in my…

How much better my feet feel. Every couple of weeks I would have to go at my heels with a belt sander to grind down callous. Okay, maybe not a belt sander, but you get the idea. Just 36 lbs down has made a world of difference.

I like the Walden Farms sugar-free dressings, only 5 calories per tbsp. So far I like the Italian, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Red Raspberry Vinaigrette, and just bought the 1000 Island (haven't tried it yet). They are really quite good.

We use Damascus Bakeries Bake-Sense flax roll-ups for crust. Sauce, mozzarella, veggies, lean Canadian bacon, and spices. Tastes great and totally satisfies my pizza cravings.

This is perfectly natural, although I understand your frustration. I just experienced this myself. The scale stayed still for 12 days and I got very antsy. I had already read here that this was normal, so I just stayed the course. Finally the scale started moving again. Patience.

Try Special K Cracker Chips. A serving of 25 chips is 120 calories. They're pretty darn good, too, especially the Salt and Vinegar. I am usually fine on a 1/2 serving for 60 calories.

If your parents are bringing home a lot of fast food for meals, study the nutrition information for all the popular fast food franchises in your area. Most of the time, there are choices you can make to easily stay within your calorie goals. Let them know your choices.

I have the same question. Does it do it automatically at all? When I had lost 25lbs, I began wondering, and decided to re-do the guided setup with my current stats. My goal was lowered by 70 calories.

I believe the poster is saying this was advice given to him/her at some point that was appreciated. Remember that is the subject of the thread.

Well if anyone did not go all twelve year old boy yet, this should do it!

It was an exercise day, so had extra calories. Indulged in a serving of vanilla ice cream with half a hershey bar crumbled over it. My conscience is clear!

From my husband - "you don't run into things anymore".

No change in the water you drink if you flavor it. I love the True Lemon/Lime products, they taste so fresh. Zero calories and no sodium, either.

If it's weird, I am right there with you. I want to know too. Hopefully, though, she will evacuate her bowel, not excavate it. The latter could be quite painful! >:)

I've got it. Thanks so much!

Thank you, that is a good informative post. However, it still does not answer my basic question. In the example given in the post, she already knew that one cup of cooked spaghetti was equal to 140 grams. But one cup of "X" is not always 140 grams. That is the infomation I am missing. Most packages have this information,…
