@tinakowalik , today I deleted and reinstalled Drivebit, and it has begun to connect again. You might give it a try.
-
This might explain it. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Potential-connection-issue-between-apps-and-Fitbit/m-p/1488299#U1488299

Having the same issue. Deleted and reinstalled, but it will not connect to Fitbit.

One more DFW.

I would say "most weeks". I think it's because I have become attuned to it and notice. It won't necessarily be a "up 3-4 times at night" situation, but on these days I really pee!
-
For me, it required working on a mindset change. Instead of eating until I feel full, I allocate my portions to feel not hungry after a meal. Getting a good amount of protein and fats each meal is a part of that. By the next mealtime, I will be quite hungry, but that is a good thing!

This happens to me on a regular basis, even when losing steadily at 'x' lbs per week. If I have a day of extra bathroom visits, I know the scale is going to be down the next morning.
-
Yep, I know the feeling. My waist is about 43in, but is out of proportion with the rest of my shape. I am fitting into 16 pants and jeans, but they do need some give in the waist. If I go larger, the legs and butt are way too big. I know what you are saying on the size charts. At this point, a 3X is huge on me.

Thanks so much everyone! I started at a BMI of 45.5, Obese Class III, last July 20. I am hoping to hit 100 lbs before the anniversary, just for grins. I will be happy to post a more detailed story once I reach that goal. Yay!! :D

What an amazing transformation. I can just feel your happiness bursting out in your pics and post. Bless you, and may you go on to even greater heights.

I have not been on a plane since I lost substantial weight. We have a trip coming up later this year, and I am looking forward to plopping into that coach seat without squeezing.
-
It also gets to me when I am laying down at night on my side. My hand will tend lay on my hip, and I have to spend a minute or two rubbing my fingers over the contours of my hip bones. It's a great feeling.

I have been transitioning to casual dresses for the summer. They are more forgiving in fit, and easy to throw on. I have the opposite problem, my waist is still big but my hips and thighs have lost a lot of weight. When I do buy pants, I buy from resale shops and look for stretchy waist pants that fit my hips and thighs…

I don't cheat. If I have an occasion coming up, or just really want that night out at the Tex-Mex joint, I plan for it accordingly. I bank calories for the week, eat lightly on other meals that day, and make sure to get some exercise.
-
If you mean it automatically adjusts your daily calorie goal as you lose, the jury is out. I have heard this to be true, but it has never happened on my account.
-
The only thing wrong is lack of patience. You seem to have an expectation that whatever you ate yesterday will reflect on the scale today. It doesn't work that way. Your body weight will go up and down even during weight loss. Healthy weight loss is a slow process. Give it at least several weeks.
-
So you have never known anyone who used Weight Watchers either? They use a different method, but it's still calorie counting.
-
Have you created the goals on your account yet? I would just start with the default macros. You will go through a learning curve. As you become more comfortable, experient with your macros. What satiates you more? For many, it's protein and fiber. For some, it's carbs. Find your balance. Best of luck!
-
Nor does LCHF. I doubt most people can give up so much of their carbs for more than a couple of weeks. Some can, many cannot. I will even agree that without the right tools, calorie counting can be a PITA. With MFP, it's quite simple. I am not sure why "to each his own" is such a difficult concept.
-
It looks like you have lost 25 lbs. Congrats! Have you reset your calorie goal since you lost weight? As you lose, you will begin to burn less calories.
-
Also, how long have you been doing this regimen?
-
Don't mind me. I'm just moving my dirt with my rudimentary shovel. After all, I don't know any better. <eyeroll>
-
Although it's not what you asked, many find that 1200 is difficult to maintain, so adding exercise for additional calories is strongly recommended. I got down to a goal of 1240 before slowing my loss (now at 1390), and I found I really needed the exercise calories.

What a complete load of BS.

I have lost 93 lbs eating all my Fitbit Charge HR calories back most days. I am also set to sedentary on both apps and have negative calories enabled. Had a sick day Saturday, so had negative calories from Fitbit for the day (I ate lightly). I have found it to be very accurate for me. Experiment - eat them back and if you…

I could not, ever, dream of a veggie burger. Raspberries? Oh yeah.

The mushroom/goat cheese starter, rib-eye steak and the peas.

I use Kroger Private Selection center cut, 25 calories a slice. privateselection.com/artisan-products/meats/bacon/center-cut-bacon/

You will hear rants about the inaccuracies of such devices, but I have found my Charge HR to be quite accurate with one caveat. It does give me false steps when driving, sometimes quite a lot. Solved that by using Drivebit, which posts my driving to Fitbit for me. Starting out morbidly obese, I don't think I could have…
