I did not have c-sections, but I had to have another gyn surgery with a lower belly incision hip to hip. As I have lost weight, the overhang is slowing getter smaller. It's still pretty significant. I have another 34 lbs to go, and I sure hope the belly goes down a lot more. But there is no way it will be flat. I have been…

Deleted - missed the fact that you don't have a radio.

This is so wrong. I do moderate exercise, focus on protein for satiety, and don't watch my sugar at all. Apparently I have lost 92 lbs by magic!
-
This. Only in my case it's 14 grams. :) My hubby claims I am spooky now.

How are you measuring your intake and calorie burn? Are you logging all your food and weighing your food on a food scale?
-
Stop losing weight. Start lifting AND see a therapist.
-
Sure, if you can fit it into your calorie goals. But I have found that I much prefer to spend my calories on solid food, so I switched to Coke Zero. I was a hard-core Classic Coke fan. I found adding lemon/lime helped quite a bit. Now I don't remember what Classic Coke tastes like!

I also have a Charge HR and get bogus steps driving. I second the vote for Drivebit, it's easy to use.
-
My bad then. Read it again and still don't quite get it that way - must have had too much broccoli for lunch!

It is normal to retain some water after new exercise. Your body retains it for muscle repair. Drink plenty of water and it will flush out in a few days. However, "eating healthy" does not necessarily mean you are eating at a calorie deficit, which is necessary for weight loss.
-
Because they are eating at a calorie deficit. How are the people doing CICO with no meal timing so successful?

It's fine, as long as you do well with artificial sweeteners (assuming Crystal Light has them). I drink iced tea as my water all day.
-
Thrilled for you! You have come a long way. Feels great, doesn't it? I know exactly what you mean about knowing you will "finish" this time. I feel the same way.
-
What is your setting for number of pounds per week? If you have chosen 2, then MFP is trying to give you a deficit of 1000 calories per day, and you don't have room for that. Try 1 lb per week.
-
Agree that the answer is probably yes! I have lost 87 lbs doing just that. If you find you are not losing as you should, then adjust.
-
This. Only 7 lbs to go.

Zero calorie drinks, supplements, spices, and lettuce for a sandwich.

This post is so refreshing. Congrats, OP, and it's wonderful that you actually read the stickies and followed the advice. I did too, and yes, it does work! Good luck on the rest of journey and keep up the good work.

I second the vote on Special K cracker chips. For salsa dipping, the Sea Salt flavor goes well.
-
Coke Zero with lemon/lime. Makes a big difference for me.
-
Start with setting your goals on your account. Then start in on the stickies and read, read, read. Best of luck!

If you like Mexican, take a look at the Herdez Bowl line of frozen meals. Sodium is still an issue here, but the calories are very reasonable and I think they are quite good. I grab one of these for lunch when I have not had time to prepare something.
-
Agree with water weight. Drink plenty of water and it will pass in a few days. New exercise and high-sodium days can be culprits, as well as TOM.

I am also in an IT field. I develop software. I have noticed that I am slower than I used to be, but it really began before I started losing weight. I will be 60 this year, and I am just not as quick. For most of the time I have been losing weight, I had a 2 lb per week goal. I was fine on that for months, except if I did…

That's great!

@elphie754 , I should add that I have the free version of Drivebit for iPhone. The paid version may have more features.
-
To each his own, but I don't find using Drivebit a bother. My Charge HR has really helped me to lose 87 lbs so far. All the trackers have their own issues. When mine dies or breaks, I will reconsider all the options.

Fitbit accounts for this based on your activity level setting.
