The first time I moved into the suburbs, around the age of 10, I was so puzzled why certain areas had no sidewalks. It took me a while to realize that people in the suburbs did not walk! My brother and I were the odds ones, who would walk every where. My father would not drive us. If we can't walk or take public…

Korean and Japanese food tend to be low in fat. They eat mainly fish and vegetable. They do eat huge portions of rice. I am not as well versed in the day to day eating of other Asian cultures but I imagine they are very similar. With the introduction of Western food in Korea the obesity level is rising. I mean the…

Ground beef is probably one of the few foods that I could eat daily, not sure for a full 30 days. Looking forward to following your progress.

You could always do a build your own... (taco, wrap, asian wrap). You just lay out the ingredients and let them make it the way they want. For example for Tacos, I would have some sort of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, grilled peppers, sour cream, etcc.. For your self you can build it as a lettuce wrap but the…

I would have pizza toppings with a salad with ceasar dressing. I would've picked with chicken wings but most places would coat the wings with flour to make it crispier.

You can always find it on Amazon. Found it but couldn't recommend which one. It is an item I have on my wish list, but yet to buy since I am trying to cut back on my Amazon spending, LOL.

Oooh. That's sounds good. Got to try this.

Been craving pizza lately. I think I'll make myself a pizza bowl for dinner. Thanks for the idea.

Fat from meat is also one my favorite ways to get fat. I have always enjoyed fatty meats. This diet allows be to enjoy it without the guilt. The rest of my fat intake comes from butter, HWC, cream cheese, avocados, and Coconut oil. For some reason I do not lose weight as well with cheese. Other dairy products is okay just…

The snacking maybe my problem, especially dark chocolate. I think I'll have bigger meals have the chocolate if need be as dessert of the meal. I am going to have to play around with this and see if I can break out of this stall.

Hi, Welcome!
-
I weigh myself everyday. it helps me see how my body respond to the food I eat. I notice that when I keep my fat percentage around 75% and eat 15 or less carbs I lose weight. The carb intake is strictly from veggies. My calorie intake can be as high as over 2000, but I seem to lose more weight when it is high calorie but…

Better because of the fatty acid profile but not necessary. I don't because of the expense. But I do buy the Kerrygold butter. It just tastes better. At least to me.

Since I am trying to lose weight I am avoiding fruit even the berries. I just don't seem to respond well when having fruit. But plan to add them back a little once I get to maintain mode. Depending on you definition of fruit. The only fruit I allow currently is avocado and tomato.

Me too! I had a pair of boots that I had hidden in the back of my closet because I couldn't get into them. No I can!

Thanks BalmyD. I'll keep it in mind if I am at a stall since my body seem unable to tolerate just eggs.

I wanted to try the egg fast but having too much eggs gives me a gall bladder flare up. I did join up an egg fast group on FB. The members there seem to getting good results. These are mainly people who are in LCHF diet already and need a little something to get them off their stall. Here is the link to group on FB…

It sounds like you are busy. I would suggest making crock pot meals. You just throw things into the crock pot, set it and a few hours later you have a wonderful meal. There are a lot of low carb crock pot meals on the internet. Here is one link to get you started…

Zoodles in homemade Alfredo sauce (cream cheese , HWC, Parmesan cheese) with jumbo shrimp a little but of cherry tomatoes and sautéed mushrooms.

Keep an eye out on the fat intake. Years before when I was trying LC, I did not understand the importance about having enough fat in your diet. I tried it for awhile, had good results but eventually quit. Now I make sure my diet is around 70% fat. It really cut down my cravings for the bad carbs like sweets and breads,…

Add me. I have been on LCHF for a week after a 4 month hiatus. Before that I was on it for about a month. Love this WOE and love this group.

It is the only group I keep going back to. Lot's of support and a lot of information! Thank you all!

I mostly walk, between 30-120 minutes a day depending on my schedule for the day. Rather than listening to music I put either sermons, lectures or an audio book on my MP3 player and away I go. I have a lot of workout videos. My favorites are by beachbody.com. It is not so much the workout themselves as how they structure…

Probably not good for many other health reasons, especially since it really is not a natural whole food. But I love to indulge and have a diet coke every once in awhile especially after eating something spicy! Something about the sweetness and the bubbly just finishes a meal. I say enjoy, but don't go crazy. Real food is…

Definitely, going to try this. I am more of a savory person, so already anticipating the taste. I was looking for a way to up my fat and sodium intake and this would be perfect! Thank you everybody!

What kind of bouillon do you use? Do you just add butter? How do you make it?

Thanks for the info everyone. Wish I knew this before I bought the quart of HWC at Costco. Will be looking more closely at the label next time.
