  • Well, that makes all of the difference in the world! I was told between 0.8g - 1g per pound and I was overwhelmed and unable to attain that. By per kilo - that I can manage.
  • I have been wondering the same thing. I just started with a personal trainer and she advised me to eat 0.8 grams of protein for every pound. Right now that is about 178 grams of protein. I have not been able to meet that goal, but I have my protein set as the highest percentage. I am due for a physical and I am hoping to…
  • How do you deal with spouses who don't like the change? My husband and I are eating and drinking buddies. I have already changed half of that equation, and I have scaled way back on the wine & beer, but not given it up entirely. I have about two - three servings a week. Looking for less because of the empty calories. How…

I am 36 which isn't old, but I feel old for this - like "why did I wait so long!" and "Ugh, this is so much harder and slower than before", but I think with age comes determination and experience. We can do it!
  • Thanks for the warm welcome!
  • Me, too! 25 more to go!
