MFP definitely used to do this on it's own - I remember it happening years ago! It would pop up with a message saying "you've lost XYZ lbs, to maintain your goal of 2 lbs per week, your new calorie goal is XYZ" and you'd have to hit approve on it!

Weekends are always tough for me too. Sometimes I do amazing and sometimes I totally get off track and eat like crap for 2 days. For me - its the being out of my normal routine that is the problem. The kids and my husband are home, we are busy, out and about, running errands, etc - so its just "easier" to eat out or grab…

I'll probably eat whatever I want on Christmas Day (but somewhat within reason...1 slice of pie instead of 2...5 cookies instead of 10! haha) and the rest will be my usual.

At 5'8 and 220 - I was a size 14, but it was a snug 14.

I think we all have pig out days, it is relatively normal and likely to happen. I move on and go back to my regular diet/exercise regimen. I wouldn't eat only 500 calories. Seriously, one day of pigging out isn't going to make you gain all 47 lbs back - I promise. Eat like normal.

I love the stairmaster! I get on there, turn on some good music and just kill it. Its a great workout for me and I am usually dripping in sweat when I get off - and get a great calorie burn! It has had a visible impact on my legs and booty. I think its great cardio and a good cross-training workout for my running training!

But still, where are those numbers coming from? Are you wearing a HR monitor on the treadmill or going by what the treadmill says? Where are you getting the 600 calorie bike ride burn and the 500 calorie spin class burn number from? I also cant imagine 987 calories burned in 35 mins of body weight floor exercise in any…

I just went through a 4 week stall - it was frustrating but I just kept on keeping on with my diet and exercise and suddenly, I dropped 2 lbs. Dont give up!

Where are you getting your calorie burn numbers from?

Putting a bowl (upside down) under a plate on the scale was game-changing for me! So more bending and struggling to see what the scale says bc the plate is hiding it! lol

You look great - way to go!!

HAHAH! I love this. My stairmaster experience was rather similar - I could only handle 5 minutes when I started! 2 months later..I can do an hour and have significantly upped the speed. I love it! Such a good cardio workout on my non-run days and it REALLY builds the booty! ;)

You look GREAT! That dress is amazing!

RUN!! I remember trying to get out of the mile run in high school. Now I can run 13! Also - we recently went on a beach vacation as a family and we rented bikes (one with a child seat for our 3 year old and one with a tagalong for our 6 year old) and rode 20+ miles 2 days in a row. I never would have WANTED to do that 6…

Way to go!! You look like a different person!

Panda All-Natural Raspberry Licorice. I grabbed some at Whole Foods (while picking up my other obsession - Halo Top Creamery ice cream) and am HOOKED. Cant stop..

Yogurt - Caramel Fudge Pretzel Greek Crunch, to be exact. It was delicious!

I've lost 63 lbs, want to lose just a few more, maybe 5-7. Anyway, one way I recently noticed that it has affected my life is that I allow pictures to be taken of me, with my kids. There are so few from the last couple years because I was embarassed by how I looked but now..take ALL the pictures! We even had a family photo…

Bank some calories during the week and get in a killer workout Saturday morning to have some extra calories on hand- thats what I do! I go to the gym later Sat morning than I can during the weekend and do a longer/harder workout since I have the time, this usually results in a very late breakfast or just straight to lunch…

Most people are focused on themselves, not on you, I promise. But if you are uncomfortable, there are a few ways to help with that - -How do you feel about working out at home? -Do you have a friend who could go with you the first few times to ease some anxiety? -Go really early/really late while it isnt as busy until you…

I do not like oatmeal and never eat it. I've lost 61 lbs in 6 months so..you can probably skip the oatmeal if you dont like it :P

WOW! 70 lbs is awesome!!

Oh and peanut butter m&ms...oh how did I forget about those? I would eat SO many - we would buy the big bags at the grocery store and they didnt last more than 2 days...now I stick to single serve bags of Crispy m&ms!
-
Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew. So much Mountain Dew. Now a sip makes me feel sick! Doritos..esp Cool Ranch. A full size bag would be gone in 2 days. And just way too much takeout/fastfood/pizza in general. SO much pizza...

I do exercise through it - even when I really dont want to! Exercise actually tends to help with the cramps and bloat for me. And yep - cravings all the way. I just have a small piece of chocolate, a single serving of chips, etc or whatever it is I am craving. I dont completely deprive myself - but I dont go nuts either!
