  • Whatever brand you buy, make sure that the important parts are metal. I think it is called the drive shaft. In simple, sexy terms, the metal post (male part) needs to fit into a metal hole (female part). :) Plastic does not last.

  • I make a pasta salad with a half a cup of pasta, a quarter of a cup each of black beans, chick peas and kernel corn, add tomato chunks, diced peppers (or any other veggies you have) and a bit of crumbled feta.
