  • Challenge 2 Week 5 When In Venice, Take A Gondola After going for a long walk today, sitting and exercising sounded like a great way to finish the week.
  • 1. Challenge 1 2. I have done over 15 miles indoors. 3. Week 6 Frostbite Footrace or Iditarod 4. I picked it because I love to walk. Great chance to do some training for the summer extra long walks and 5K's. Challenge 3 - I ate Spinach, broccoli, Romaine lettuce (salad), Green apple, cucumber Fruit bowl with green grapes.
  • I'd say something like, Thank you, doesn't "Jane" look great (looking over to where she is), what an inspiration she is to everyone. I'm so honored to be here to help her celebrate.
  • Challenge 3 - I used ginger to make homemade Worcestershire sauce to use in a marinade for our steak. It was delicious, We grilled the steak on the BBQ to make it healthier. We served it with homemade baked sweet potato fries which I sprinkled with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. I got 100 lbs of sweet potatoes from work so…
  • Challenge 1 - I walked 10 miles this week with Leslie. I started getting up early and doing two miles before work. Too cold to go outside. Hope this counts. It felt great, got me started on the right foot for the day.
  • Challenge 3 - Left behind taco salad and bacon. It's been hard not to stop in the store on my way home from work but I did it for five days and the bacon I'm giving up for the next 35 days to support my Catholic co-workers. lol
  • I I forget to post.a picture. By the way again I'm also forgetful.
  • My challenge 3 food was eggplant, I made Baba Ghanoush. I roasted the eggplant in the oven, peeled it, mashed it, then mixed the rest of the ingredients in. I think it was alright, not sure since I can't smell anything and my tastebuds are out of whack. Well at least I don't have the severe chills anymore. By the way,…
  • I picked eggplant to try for the challenge so I will be preparing that tomorrow, but yesterday I went shopping and picked up some cream spinach in the deli. Sounded pretty gross to me, but I like spinach. It wasn't that bad actually, so now I will have two foods for my challenge. Sorry no picture of the spinach, but I'll…
  • The best way to eat them is pickled. lol
  • I made good use of my snow day and got challenge 1 completed and started challenge 2, I'm going to really like that one, not so sure about challenge 3, the only thing I could think of were sardines. lol
  • I love brussel sprouts, they're one of my favorite vegetables, you should try them.
  • Positive vibes sent your way!!
  • I'm definitely putting zip lining on my bucket list! Looks like a lot of fun! (and challenging to someone like me that's afraid of heights!)
  • I finally have some time to read all your posts, you gals and guys are hilarious! Between being sick last week and working late every night this week, I haven't had a lot of time or energy to participate. (and I'm kind of shy in groups). @wolvinnetje - you always brighten my day with your posts, @mamaelf2008 - If anyone…
  • My minutes are completed for the week and logged. :)
  • Hi my name is Lisa I get most of my exercise from Leslie Sansone walking dvds, but I love to take long walks outside. To be honest, after 18 months, exercise is not my favorite thing to do, but I do it anyway and I feel better for having done it. I live in Hartland, New Brunswick, home of the Longest Covered Bridge in the…
  • Sorry I'm sick today and not getting my minutes in, I promise to do extra the rest of the week to make up for it.
  • I can't wait to get started!!
  • I chose to do “It’s Rajio Taiso Time!” from week three. I like the simplicity of the routine and music. I found it both relaxing and invigorating at the same time if that makes sense.
  • 1. Up my water intake each day. 2. Really work on my sleep habits, being tired equals bad eating habits, for me at least 3. Eat more veggies 4. Get back in the walking outdoor habit 5. Live each day as it comes 6. Be more present on MFP, the support really keeps me on track. 7. Review my printed out diaries and repeat…
  • I'm so excited this week, I bought myself a smart TV for my workout room (the basement). No more squeezing into the little space in front of my computer to do the challenge videos. I may even go back and do some of the old ones I really liked again! I really liked the Tai chi!
  • Me too!! Crazy busy week, but I'm getting it done. I'm thankful for all your patience with me and my busy schedule.

  • @Vowder I agree with Theresa, also as long as we concentrate on the 1/2 step forward, we'll always be winners!
  • I plan to do mine on the weekend too. I have a lot more time then.
  • @MissionEnforcer I introduced myself yesterday, but I wanted to show you what our town is famous for besides potatoes. Hartland, NB, home of the Longest Covered Bridge in the World
  • Hi, I'd like to introduce myself again - My name is Lisa,I'm also an emptynester, although I have one temporarily occupying her old room. I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I just hit the one year mark on MFP on Oct. 14th. I've lost 70 lbs, but since I had major surgery in May, I've been losing and gaining the same 5 lbs. I…
  • Nice to be back and excited to get going. It's going to be fun!
  • Hi Mandi, I'm New Brunswick, Canada. I do one of Leslie Sansone dvd's every night, it has made such a difference in my life. I prefer to stay in side where it's warm and toasty in the winter, so these dvd's really help.
