I did really well this weekend as far as calories go but still not motivated to exercise on the weekends. I've been exercising Monday thru Friday and taking Saturday and Sunday off.

I walked 3 miles Monday-Friday. Yeah me! Hoping to get a walk in tomorrow, weekends are tough to find the time. I'm walking fast enough to work up a sweat---sweat is just my fat crying!

I've been on a plateau for the last 2 weeks. I have stayed under my calorie goal and have exercised faithfully but weight loss has stalled out. I weigh 2 pounds more this morning than yesterday. I stayed under my calorie goal, drank lots of water, and exercised. I looked at what I ate yesterday and the sodium was way high. I'm wondering if that's why. Oh well, I'm still going strong faithfully logging all my food and exercising 5X a week.

If you are considering a treadmill for walking (not running) try going to a mall instead. I've started going to the mall every morning to walk. I get there 2 hours before the stores open and walk at a very brisk pace for an hour. I'm definitely getting a workout! There are people there in the morning at all different…

If I want to eat rice with only have 1/2 of the caloric intake then I eat 1/2 of the recommended portion. Not rocket science.

I weigh daily as well. It helps me to focus on my resolve to keep eating healthy and exercise. When I don't weigh in daily I go back to my old ways of overeating and not exercising. The discipline of daily weighing motivates me to do the right things for the day.

I'm really liking walking at the mall. If it weren't for all of these rainy days I wouldn't have discovered this form of exercise. I got there an hour before stores opened and walked at a very brisk pace for the entire hour. There are lots of people out there walking before the stores open, who knew?
