I do low carb for the most part as well. It's been great for me (I mainly started it to support my best friend and my mom) but 2 months in and I'm a fan. Feel free to add me, I keep an open diary!

I've tried the Equate shakes... I think they're yummy. I do shakes when I'm not feeling too hungry, or if I'm feeling nauseous (Due to my medicatiom :s ) but if you're HUNGRY, definitely eat REAL food and just do portions ♡

I had never been a shake person until recently, when I found one I really liked (Ok, it's more like my mom found a good one, and gave me to try) I now drink one every morning, have 1 really good meal, and a ton of snacks throughout the day. I snack all the time! It's the best! LOL, but yes, definitely get yourself some healthy snacks. I meal prep (specifically snacks-count out wheat thins, eat mostly fruit-strawberries are my favorite!) And drink tons of water with my little snacks. :)
