This is a really fascinating topic and I can see that everyone handles stress in different ways. Thank you for all sharing. I am currently doing a 12 week fitness challenge and the focus is on curbing the binges by doing something active. After all it is the endorphins that make us feel great during and after a workout.…

Thank you for being so honest. What you have said really touched a cord with me and I am very happy for you. Congratulations on such a wonderful journey and of course the amazing staying power. It is my 50th birthday today and you have given me a lovely gift. Thank you.

It is wonderful to read your journey. So many people think it is insurmountable to think of how much there is to lose. But you have to start sometime and why not today. I have lost16 pounds and enjoying the journey thus far. I think what I like the best is feeling healthy for the first time in ages. I never feel hungry so…

I started with MFP end of October and have lost 16 pounds. Just walk 30 minutes a day around my neighbourhood. Eat breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks. Just smaller portion sizes. Eating healthier than ever before and never feeling hungry. It is so easy once you have it in your head. I also log the calories but I also…

I weigh once a week and I find I try and relax and not stress about gains or losses as fluid retention can happen, that time of the month, bowels may not have opened for Days. Don't take a small increase to heart. It is normal for weight to fluctuate. You said yourself the overall trend is going down so that is great. Keep…

Sugar is a quick fix and makes you feel nice inside for about ten minutes but then you crave more and more and more. Stop while you're ahead. Eat more protein that will satisfy you. Drink more as well. Ok that's my bit over. Good luck

I think your thinking is all wrong. Your parents who abandoned you have the problem not you. You need to work with yourself or with a counsellor to get to know the real you. You need to explore how truly wonderful you are by self acceptance and loving who you are now at whatever weight you are. This weight loss journey is…

Amazing story of the 92 year old. Np but if you want to speed up your 5 k time I would include some intervals on the track. Like run throughs but 80% of effort. See how that goes.

I love your questions. I have to say a huge yes that exercise does help with anxiety and most definitely depression. Particularly if you do sport with a group. Exercise lifts your mood. But certainly if you are worried then speak to your GP. Do 30 minutes of walking a day and keep doing it for a while and you will come to…

Well what a huge difference. You were already a beautiful lady but now you are breathtaking. What a lovely couple. All your hard work and continued dedication has paid off. I bet you feel 100% better also. Very inspiring to see you turn into a butterfly. Thank you very much for sharing your pictures. All the best. Cathy

Great effort. Thank you for sharing photos. I also really appreciate the simplified diet and exercise tips. You know enough to be a great personal trainer. Look awesome indeed.

Keep with the walking 30 to 40 minutes a day and stretching I think that is fantastic as I do that. I also have 1200 to 1250 calories a day and loss is approx 1 kilo per week. You are spot on. Keep eating foods high in protein. Like salmon, baked beans, cottage cheese, chicken, eggs.

You have made it pet. My heart fills with joy to see such an amazing transition. Well done indeed.

Your weight loss blows my mind. Thank you for sharing. It is very moving to see how incredible your weight loss has made you look now. Keep up the amazing effort. Your dedication and will power and head space is perfect as far as I am concerned.
-
Well I am very impressed. Keep up the fantastic effort. You do look so much thinner. But I think you feel even better. Take care.

If you are not happy with your arms by all means get something done. I think you and your arms are perfectly fine but it boils down to how you feel in your temple.

I really agree with all these comments. Ok I now can say that the weight loss journey is more about your head space first. You know when I have a problem about anything I break it down to more manageable pieces to work on. So when people say baby steps it means the same. So what I suggest is break you day into 4 sections…

Sounds like nerve pain. Take a week off and go see your doctor. Could be muscle pain as well. Your body is telling you it wants a rest or it will crash. Read the signs.
-
Try and stick to your goal and keep training. Or do what the other person suggested join a local running group. It is hard to train day in and day out on your own all the time.
-
Keep up the terrific effort. Thank you for sharing

I think you look fantastic and good on you for working so hard to get that weight off.
