Are you the OP? Do you know what kind of BC she uses or if she does at all? Me neither! So if, within the realm of possible things, she is on something that has the option to let her skip, I just thought maybe she'd like to know that it's an option. Of course the pill isn't right for everyone, I'm not sure how you even got…

I use my fitbit exclusively to make sure I'm getting an accurate Activity Level for MFP, as well as to avoid having to enter exercise calories manually. I try not to eat them all back, but usually fail, and it's worked out pretty good so far (1 yr in, 30 lbs down). I wouldn't want to use fitbit for the food or calorie…

By taking birth control year round and skipping it entirely:):):) (there is no medical or scientific evidence of adverse effects from not having a period, it's all about getting over the idea that it's weird)

What you like matters more. I prefer #1, or something in between. I have a weird dislike for Pecs. It's probably just a me thing, don't take it to heart or anything. Your arms look great in #2 though.

I think the only reason it's important to know the reason behind the vegan diet is so we can actively be more sensitive with our advice. It's not wrong to ask, how you deal with the answer is what counts here. If she was going vegan for imaginary health benefits, that'd be the time to say "hey nothing wrong with milk". If…

according to BMI.. ... according.... acc....... drool.

Also also, I have added biscuits or rolls to virtually every meal, some kind of high calorie starch or carb that I simply abstain from. It's an extra 100 calories for him and it's super easy.
-
Also, noticeable difference in his overall mood and energy since we realized how little he was eating and how he wasn't getting enough to even maintain. Really happy with the change

My husband and I have the same problem. He's on here trying to gain and I'm here to lose. I've outweighed him most of our relationship because he is never hungry and I'm ALWAYS hungry. We eat the same food, he eats more, and we got him this: It's an extra 1200 calories per day for him. And his maintenance is almost 3000,…

Maybe she's uncomfortable putting herself out there? I mean, I'm so introverted I make my husband call for pizza or I'll order online. Benefit of the doubt maybe, although it could be she's not as into this as he is....

Also, if this is self-diagnosed (I'm not accusing you, it's just that you never know, we get all kinds on here, please don't be offended if this doesn't apply to you) eating for a kidney issue that you might not have could actually eff up your kidneys. So seconded on the above advice to talk to your doctor who diagnosed…

Appearance. I could say "good health" and blah blah, and that's a perfectly valid goal to have, but when it comes down to the real nitty gritty self-examination, yeah, I want to be sexy (er). And I'm cool with that.
-
Maybe OP, the best thing to do would be a slow transition. If it's a moral issue, you might simply start by finishing off non-vegan foods in your fridge already, then replace them with nutritionally identical ones as you finish them off. You won't save an animal by throwing away the animal-product containing foods you've…

Sherlock Holmes.... I feel pretty good about that.

My kid is three. He hasn't developed the love for holy pizza yet. I expect when he does we'll have to get him his own. #doughisjustaspoonfortoppings

I am depressingly naive. I have thought this whole time that you just superimposed a picture of a mouse on your face after coating yourself in oil and taking a selfie ;)

I dunno. I expect INTJ's are the most likely people to use a site like this among the types. We're obsessed with what is actually functional, almost as a rule, compared to what's popular (and even on here CICO seems to be wildly unpopular sometimes), and we're more likely, as introverts, to prefer a weight loss platform…

Not to mention short people. I'm 5'2" and have learned the hard way ($150 fitbit way) to NEVER trust the machine. The machine lies.
-
Machines, though, are also notorious for over-estimating. The safest play is to eat back 50-75% of your added calories from exercise, and as mitch said, to choose the smaller # when you're adding the exercise to begin with.

I can confirm scientifically that arguing with people online does not make me feel like a man of any size.

Gurl, you mispelled SWAG

8. Learn how to space out your intake throughout the day if you're having trouble making it between meals. It's okay to pick and snack all day if you need to so long as your intake is controlled. 9. Don't suffer through an extreme calorie deficit thinking it's going to make you happier to lose the weight faster. If you…

I eat pizza for dinner. It's AMAZING how much pizza you get to eat if your order thin crust. I swear 95% of the calories are in the dough

When I have abs like yours my picture will be everywhere too :)

Meh. I'm all for an excuse to show off:) even if it's delivered by creepers. Besides, there's only a million photos on the success stories page, and most porn is free so it's not like he needs US.
-
Also also, the best part of that picture is clearly my kid's art. "lines mummy? what lines??!!"

28 lbs down, using CICO alone. Also I walk a bit. For the bolded.

The same thing I eat for dinner all the time. It's rare for me to have a dinner go over about 370 calories. Dinner is also the healthiest most nutrient dense meal of my day, and that kind of stuff just seems to tend to be lower calorie. Tonight I'm making homemade chicken cordon bleu, and green beans. Gonna be all of 314…

And to that, I add this rant I had a few days ago on another post: Scientific claims aren't "always changing" the way they're being talked about here; they are in a constant state of refinement. We're not going to find out tomorrow that the sun revolves around the earth. It's just not going to happen. We may find out that…
