I'm 5'6" & weight 133lbs. Currently I eat on average 1,450 calories a day but MFP has me with a goal to eat 1,700 a day to lose .5lb each week to reach my goal. I used to weigh 125lbs, but ended up gaining weight due to an inadequate diet.

well first off, congrats on the 3 pound weight loss so far! 3lbs in 20 days is a good accomplishment. Secondly, I'm afraid you may be eating too little calories. Thank you so much for these suggestions, I will definitely give these foods a try! To be honest, I am not completely familiar with high fiber foods as I have always stuck to the traditional food items. So you've helped me a lot here with where to start off on high fiber foods! :-)

One of the main issues causing me to eat around 950-1100 calories was the fact that whenever I ate 950 MFP would say anything under 1000 is bad for my body & I thought 1000 was like the minimum I could eat so 950 a day only happened a few times mainly when I was feeling a bit ill.
