I don't usually do anything other than pole... The spins and the climbing will get you strong enough to start inverting and the rest takes care of itself from there... Not many people in pole cross train with traditional workouts they usually cross train on other apparatuses like silks or Lyra

OMG I'm totally new to this and are looking for people who do pole as I'm an instructor... Most poles have weight limits of 250-300 pounds not sure if this answers your question but I lost 30 lbs doing it and it is a ton of fun!!!
