It worked for me in the past. I lost about 20lbs in 3 weeks a few years back. I had a shake for breakfast, lunch and low carb fish and vege type meal for dinner. If its just steps or exercise that you track I find it just as good having a smartphone app - I have PACER which works in with MFP automatically. Each to their own :)

I have had huge issues with portion control in the past. Now trying to tackle it head on...using my 4 year old daughters kids plate for meals, and drinking bucket loads of water/green tea with my meals to fill me up before I eat.

Anyone still here? I have started 2 days ago, its very easy to stay under your calorie goal on this diet. I feel like my stomach is shrinking, and I can learn about my eating habits along the way. I need to keep my lack of willpower under control. I normally stick to whatever 'new' diet comes along, but only for about 3 or 4 days. I have been meditating for a few weeks now, and has helped me in other aspects of my life, and hoping it will help with my willpower. Feel free to add me for accountability purposes.
