How's it going? I just restarted WS yesterday. I lost 25 lbs last year using it.

About 6 depending on the day...I'm trying so hard!!! Going to Mexico in a week. Was hoping to hit it before.... Don't think that's going to happen unless I go super hard until then. But I'm happy that I've lost 20 + lbs and several inches and I feel wayyy better than I did in March! I was 225 in March!

I think for meds like depo and mirena IUD, they don't make you gain weight in the literal sense, but cause you to feel hungry and crave food. At least it did for me. Sometimes they actually cause you to retain water. I wasn't on depo, but had a Mirena in for 4 years. I finally had enough and had it removed. I, NO LIE, lost…

My pics are about 5 years apart however 1 year ago I weighed about the same thing. The bathing suit pic was just taken last week. I've just now been able to wear a swimsuit and feel like I look somewhat normal. I still have a WAYS to go, but I'm getting there slowly but surely.

I'm 5'5.5" CW: 204. SW: 224. I'm a good size 14, comfortably. Before I was a 16. I carry my weight in hips and thighs mostly. Belly is mostly flat. My goal for now is to be around 175 and then go from there. Feel free to add me. :)

My body does not respond well to too many carbs. Like I said, that is MY personal experience. Everything plays a part, calorie deficit, exercise, water, etc. But what works for one may not work for the next. That's all I'm saying. I was moreso speaking to the OP who said that she was taking the pill and not losing weight.

I work with a Dr that runs a weight loss program and she prescribes it. I have used it also. You can't use it for more than 3 months at a time because your body will build up a tolerance. I'm doing a similar plan. Still 5/1, but it does allow 2 fruits and one starch per day.... I did the fruit for he first few days just to get me thru, but not the starch. I had mine removed in May of last year and literally lost 10 lbs in a week!! Since then, my daily headaches are gone, definitely not feeling bloated all the time. Menses have returned to normal.
