  • I didnt think it was really good for 10 year olds to be doing weight training. He already does a lot of different exercises at football practice which is 4 days a week with games on Saturdays. Are you suggesting that I add something on top of that?
  • I am beginning to get discouraged. I think saying find a different program is easier said than done. I have no clue what I am looking for.
  • @rileyes I live in a shoe box. My apartment is very small with no available room. Can you suggest an alternative program that is simple to follow. On most days I spend anywhere from 1-1.5 hours at the gym. I do about 20-25 minutes of cardio and spend about 20 minutes on my abs/core.

  • @quiksylver296 The free weights (barbells) available at PF are in 10 pound increments. I would have to do 40 pounds which i did today or 50 pounds. I cant remember off hand how high they go. The dumbbells are doable for the overhead press.

  • When I do my squats I go as low as the bench. I definitely do not go as low as what is shown in the videos. That just seems really low. I do not know if my knees can take that.

  • Never heard of it. I did just u tube it though. That looks difficult. I worry about stability. I have tried to use those balls in the past. I couldn't balance in it. But it is definitely worth a try.

  • If I smith machine is what I think it is I would guess the ones in new mexico has that one and the ones in florida would be a squat rack. I found that the ones in florida have more free weights. They even have free weight bench presses which I have not found in new mexico. I guess that is a good clarification.

  • Oh heck no. I will never reach for that. I don't show my mid section because I have stretch marks. Of course I wish I could have they body I had in my 20's before pregnancy but the truth is that is not going to happen.

  • Good point. That is a work in progress. I have always battled the demons inside my head. Negative self talk can be torturous.
  • I wish that was the case. I look fine with jeans on. I am to hide my flaws. It seems to me that since losing the weights I notice even more. I wonder if there will ever come a time when I am satisfied with what I see in the mirror.
