Awesome, thanks! That's interesting about setting to maintenance sedentary, something to think about.

I went to town for about three weeks. I stopped logging/weighing and went off the rails about mid December, then went REALLY off the rails from Christmas to New Years. I weighed in yesterday and the damage is........ 5.5 pounds. I was expecting worse! Already a pound is gone. :) Back to it!!

I'm losing just fine drinking 1/2-1 bottle of wine about 3 nights a week. I try to bank calories during the week so that I can indulge more on the weekends. Works for me! I could never give up my wine... ;)

Great job on your loss!! I'm 5'2 and down about 22 pounds down too! :) I'm sorry exercise is so painful for you, but the positive news is that you can still lose even without it. I stopped exercising for now b/c it makes me sooo hungry! I actually lose more when not exercising, probably because of water retention. But hang…

Yep I love it, and I definitely get a sense of satisfaction when it's mostly healthy items at the check out! I love cooking and experimenting with new ingredients, and I also love finding deals, so going grocery shopping is almost like a game to me- "What fun, different foods can I get for a low price? How much can I…

Yep, I do it. There is no way I could eat the same exact amount of calories every day, I'd go crazy. I usually aim for 1,200 Mon-Thurs and then 1,800-2,300 on weekends, depending on how much I've exercised that week (I eat back 1/2 of exercise cals). I try to average out weekly at around 1,600 calories.

I drink a good amount of wine 3-4 nights a week. I used to drink wine every night and junk food with it, which is the main reason for all my weight gain. Now I factor it into my daily calories, and save up my exercise cals for it. I find I can drink less to get a buzz without all that crappy food in my stomach! :) I also…

I try to eat at 1,200 Mon-Thurs, I feel you that it can be tough! It helps that I'm not very hungry in the mornings, so I wait until about 1pm to start eating, and it lets me eat a bigger lunch and dinner, then snacks at night. A few times a week I'll have a lean cuisine, which are tasty and usually around 250-350…

This happens to me whenever I start exercising after being sedentary for awhile. It's actually very frustrating. You're working your butt off, but getting little to no results! :( Apparently a new exercise routine can cause you to retain major water. Try to be patient (I know, easier said than done!) and drink LOTS of…
