2014 I was in the best shape of my life and felt really good about myself. I was a bit to confident with my health. I swapped jobs from a really active job to something that was not physical at all at the end of 2015. I put on quite a lot. I'm embarrassed how out of hand it is but I'm so determined and dedicated to get…

Search for a Keto calculator, it'll calculate how much protein, carbs and fat for you. It can tell you how much % of fat you have by your height, weight and measurements and base your macros on that. If you overdo the protein it can hinder your weightloss.

Over the past year and a half I put on an enormous amount of weight. I changed from an extremely active job where I was on my feet all day to a less active job. The weight kept piling on but each time I looked at the scales I thought to myself "meh it's not much" but now it out of control. Change your diet slowly and your…

I've had the same problem. I'm day 25 and I lost a few kgs in the first week but then the weight loss stopped completely, I actually gained a kg. I wasn't too worried about it at first but it's been over a week. I exercise for at least 1hr a day and I message and weigh my food. Even if I went over on my calories I don't…

I'm into my 3rd week and I lost quite a bit in the first 2 weeks but it all just stopped. I'm putting it down to muscle. I didn't exercise much at all but for the last 3 weeks been walking around 4k everyday. If it is plateau I've read it can last sometimes for a min of 4 weeks. I don't rely on the scales as much anymore,…

I was reading the other day that weight plateau can last more than 4 weeks. I'm not sure what the answer is but I guess be patient. Or try and trick your body out of it

I went to bed at 7:30 last night which I never do. I had a slight fever and chills. It's 10:30 am now and feel very weak. I'll keep up the fluids but might miss my daily walk for today. I'm not getting cravings or anything.

I've been using this app for a couple of years and I'm still learning how to use it. I was just tracking my calories and exercise but just recently discovered the social side of the app. Keep exploring the app and you'll find your way around it

YouTube has a lot of good aerobics videos. I do them every now and then. Denise Ausmen I grew up watching and still I find her videos the best

Setting small goals is a good start. Originally my goal was to lose 30kg but for me I felt it was unacceptable so I halved to a number that didn't seem too overwhelming and achievable, once I reach that goal I'll set another to lose the rest. I wrote a list of food out that were healthy and I liked and tried to incorporate…

I find chewing gum makes me more hungry. I think chewing gum tricks your stomach into thinking food is on its way then I get more hunger pains

Lollyolivia, I use to take apple cider every morning, I'm not sure if it was mind over matter but I felt it gave me more energy through the day. I recommended it to friends and they found the same thing. I don't drink it everyday now but when I feel a bit lethargic I'll put two tablespoons in a glass of water and now…

Craving are tough, I don't buy junk food but when I get the craving for something I can magically turn something that was healthy into something unhealthy. I read up a few posts and someone mentioned apple cider and I must say it does work for me but you need a lot of willpower to drink it.

I had worked in aged care for years but was made redundant and was unemployed for about 3 months. My job was quite active and once I stopped I put on a lot of weight, even after I started working in another job I continued to put the weight on because my new role was nowhere near as physical. I've put the weight on over 2…
