I think I need to reevaluate my grocery shopping. I spend $150+ a week for a family of 4. I'm in Australia but I'm thinking that's still a little too high

A parent without kids are those people who have all the answers and tell you what you should and shouldn't do...like my sister in law

You can do it! I had about 30 to 40kg to lose, so far I've lost 17kg. 40kg was so over whelming at first so I broke it down to 10kg increments. Best of luck to you all

I've enjoyed eating the same menu week after week, but I'm worried now that with winter coming to an end a lot of the foods Ive eaten will be going out of season. So I'm going to have to adjust my menu

avocado carbonara pasta sauce is delicious. Avocado, cream, parmesan cheese, bacon, chicken, garlic and a bit of onion. I don't add the pasta. It's a popular dish in my home and so easy to make. You can improvise with ingredients but it's pretty basic

This is a good article to read from the MFP news letter on the topic http://blog.myfitnesspal.com/ask-the-dietitian-should-i-eat-back-my-exercise-calories/

Reading some of these posts I feel really fortunate. My family is really supportive of me. They've all seen the effort I've been putting in and are so proud of me. They ask how I'm going and if I'm feeling better about myself. My daughter noticed one day I wasn't going to one of my classes and asked why? My car was in for…

That's pretty amazing for your mum. Thanks for sharing that. I haven't had a gallstone attack for years but that's method seems pretty safe

Does the recipe remove the stones completely out of the gallbladder?

Congratulations you look beautiful and despite those voices you still did it!

Being happy is always the best revenge. Take some time out for yourself and remember to look after yourself mentally and physically. Eat to nourish your body, binge Eating is an temporary fix but for the long term it'll make you feel worse about yourself. Focus on your strengths, you are beautiful.

I scan a lot of food when I can (other than fresh produce) using the barcode but never cross checked it and assumed it was accurate, I might start paying more attention.

We don't have Dunkin where I am but we have Donut King which I think would be similar. My sons girlfriend works there and brings so many donuts home weekly ☹️. In 3 months I haven't had one, it's tough. Both my son and daughter work at KFC too

I use to use steps app and I didn't notice it draining my battery but it's hard keeping your phone on you all day so I'd miss a lot of steps but it was still pretty good

I've been doing low carb for about 2 months and what I've noticed most is the clarity and not having brain fog, I'm sleeping so well, I pretty much fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. I'm not lethargic at the end of the day which I love

I listen to various podcasts, there's no way I could listen to music while exercising or I'd probably treat the walking trail as my own personal stage singing at the top of my lungs. Podcast are great if you can find stuff your interested in

I don't se to mix it through my ice cream too and over kill with milk but I can't do it anymore, it's annoying getting it out of my teeth
-
Even 3000 kilojoules is pretty high for milo. I keep that stuff hidden from the kids because I'm pretty sure they'd go through a 1kg tin a week

Chicken carbonara without the pasta is good and one of my favourites is stuffed mushrooms with bacon, tasty cheese and a bit of Parmesan on top to make it a bit crunchy

Have you got any other apps linked to MFP? Because they might be overriding fitbits app. This was my problem a few weeks ago. I disconnected another step app from MFP settings and just put Fitbit on.
